I'm sort of in the same boat, though luckily I had a spare 1U shelf hanging around when I moved my unit into my rack space. I'll be heading back there in the next week or so, and bringing a couple rail kits with me, but my guess is it'll be too late by then!

Let us know how it goes if you do end up ordering those rails.

They have holes for the slide you show on the sides but they could also mount like a 4U server from the front four holes.   We are using angle brackets (instead of full shelves) and then the four bolt holes on the ears and then stacking another above it and it is working well.   You also could just stack them all on top of each other (but then it is a pain to get one out if you have to remove it).   There are lots of options.

I have two units due at the end of February and I've heard nothing yet. So when I get mine I'll announce it on this thread (if I'm not busy constantly trying to keep them online) and then you guys will know most of February is over.

Of the three I've ordered from, only one vendor (Bitmain, obviously) actually delivered on target. This mess with Cointerra has seriously put me off ordering any other ASICs, I'm tired of eating the risk of these startup companies failures. I'm now in the early stages of working on an Nvidia Maxwell scrypt mining operation instead. Maybe you're right jjiimm and it's preorders that are to be avoided.

Maybe I'll feel differently once the Terraminers arrive. I was told yesterday by email by Terrafly Labs that they've completed shipping January and are working on February, which will be done "within the next 1-2 week(s)". Whether that's two weeks or Two Weeks™ remains to be seen.

They also confirmed that "any opening of the machine will violate the warranty". Fucking great.

I've been following this thread for a long time, but finally signed up and figured it's time to contribute. I received my Terraminer IV yesterday, and my order was placed early November. So far it is performing very well. It crashed once last night after being powered up for about three hours, and I lost one of the boards today. It recovered quickly both times after a quick reboot. As far as hashing goes, it has gotten as low as 1.2-1.3Th/s. It has gotten as high as 2.06 Th/s, and stayed there for a few minutes. Overall it seems to be averaging 1.6-1.7 Th/s.

So far so good on my end, though I'm not holding my breath just yet. I applied the update around 2 hours ago, and it appears that things are running a bit faster. On the original firmware, I ran at around 1.2TH/s (power step '5' since that was the only one that allowed for stability) and the stats always showed one core was dead.

After the update, it seems I'm doing alright at 1.32TH/s (same power step). The stats no longer show the core volts (which is what I used to determine a problematic core to begin with), but now I see...

...the problematic core, Asic1Core1, is showing a value that's not '0000000000000...', so I figured that's a good sign.

I'll give it another day or two. If all looks well, I'll probably try bumping up the power a little and see how it holds up.

I just got mine today. It was getting only 1.3th, some of the temps were high 80c. I set it up outside to see if it would help. Now it's getting 1.6TH. Anyone know how low the temps need to be? Also, will a standard cpu cooler mount correctly on these?
