for right now, i can't surely say that this year gonna be bountiful year. but, surely alternative coin could be good in this year. better re-stock your coin when the coin is in a deep dip state. then you start to reap what you sow

2018 like everyones saying is the year of all altcoins , but this past month all altcoins are in dip because of the bitcoin going down. Some altcoins like etherium , ripple , litecoin rises in their value but they are going dip in a matter of month. When the king goes down , altcoins follow also to go down in their value. But this dip in altcoins will eventually be over once the bitcoin is back on its track.

We started on the right foot so yeah, Altcoins will do great this year, same goes for the ICO. The ones that will be successful will see a greatly price increase.

Hopefully that time will come so many of us will benifit of this, it is nice to make now an investment because i think this is time of altcoins this year. When i see the market cap all are green so i guess the value now are starting to increase.

The market cap does not give me any reason to invest in cryptocurrency. You can understand this value is only an unrealistic numbers, because it calculated from total supply, not from total traded on the market. Volume trading is better than if you want to know the emotion of all traders.

I dont think so coming days will show us 2018 is what but I dont expect raising altcoins. I think BTC will beat next three months.

I partly agree with you. Last year, it was the year of the ICOs because they've raised billions of dollars combined. However, not all initial coin offerings are legitimate. Think about Benebit, they've used fake pictures stolen from a school website.

Then there's Bitconnect and Davorcoin (yes they are successful in ICO sales, but didn't last long due to Ponzi schemes in the form of lending programs). Not sure about Plexcoin though, but it seems they aren't giving up yet.

Overall, what matters is that we should do our homework first before joining and investing in an ICO.

2018 is altcoin's year !
because bitcoin in 2017 become very famous, in 2018 is the best year for altcoin,
it will reach the peak soon !

I was also very upset by the news about ICO Benebit. This is a good example of fraud in this area. But in any case, in my opinion, ICO will attract a lot of additional money to altcoins in 2018, so this year will be successful.

Yeah as others have said, right now 2018 haven't been that great for atlcoins but I'm confident that from here on we will see a big rise and eventually a new all high market with over a trillion marketcap.

I really hope it will be a good year for altcoins. Because of the recent bad times we had , everyone needs a good run from alt coins. Investors have disappointed in this coin a long time ago, there was a lot of noise around it, which gave it a push in the price.

I think Ethereum, Dash, and Bitcoin Cash will follow similar trends to Bitcoin in 2017. I think Litecoin and Monero will follow the path of the ETH, DASH, BCH in 2017. The coins like Ripple, Cardano, and Stellar will probably get to the $5-$10 range. That's just my guesstimate on things after the big correction in prices.

Some of them will become top 100 or even top 10 coin in marketcap.
