I think I may have gone insane by now if it wasn't for him helping to fill in pieces of the puzzle I was missing.

Just may have???

Wasn't it Seal that cornily said that hope is never gonna survive unless we get a little wacky?  Cheesy

UPDATE: I saw that the last payment went in earlier today/late last night but wanted to be home before I contacted the orig. R2 seller for Order 616 to do the upgrade as we're supposed to only have a 1 hr. window to pay; although I supposed I could've did a partial payment...

So payment should *hopefully* be tonight if our Australian friend is available. We have each other's real IDs, and we did do a 50.5 BTC escrowed transaction so I'm going to go ahead & ask him to set this up, CC HashFast and the orig. R2 seller, and either pay immediately if I get a screencap or wait to hear back from HF re: wallet address, if we don't.

Any objections?

While I'd make a small commission, Escrow will likely slow this down 36-48 hours and I didn't account for the extra cost of escrow in the upgrade price.

There's our payment to HashFast's wallet for the upgrade. Woohoo! Glad to get that out of the way. We just doubled our hashrate for 25% more!

I CC'd HashFast and the orig. R2 buyer the Tx ID. It's late here, I'll add more details tomorrow and hopefully a HashFast update if I hear from them. Any leftover funds that aren't mine are going to R2's share of the UPS/Batteries for R2-6.

Don't forget: if the orig. share owner comes calling before the upgrade parts ship, you'll need to sell them their upgrade share(s) at-cost. That's the only reason we went forward when we didn't hear back from enough R1/R2 owners WRT to the promo.

Hi Kasper,

Welcome Back!

Unfortunately, R2B is sold out.

However, as a R1 original share owner, you're allotted your upgrade share(s) in R1B for whatever shares you purchased, up until the upgrade parts ship which have already been ordered.

The cost is 0.35BTC (which is what R1B and R2B shares cost when we converted to BTC + 0.01BTC as a tip to the buyer being bumped) and will be sent to the person that's bought the share to move the R1B GB forward. You can send it to the payment address listed on the 2nd OP and send me a PM when you do.

I'll notify the person who you bumped and send them the BTC payment when you're ready.

You can click the "List of all our GBs" in my sig as a handy reference and quick links to all the various GBs this co-op has undertaken since then (we've had something like 13 more fundraising rounds, including 2 Baby Jet upgrade rounds since I might've last seen you).

Cheers!

PS: BTW, shoot me a PM if you're up for hosting miners in Europe or the Middle East.

I wouldn't want you to lose your shirt, and understand if the usual 2.75% hosting/management fees for our co-op are too low and would need to be adjusted.

So that bumps HashFast delivery to somewhere about mid-November at the earliest...   Ugh...

The good news (for R5/R6 shareholders) is that the R5 and R6 Jupiters will be hashing for a few extra weeks before difficulty increases due to HashFast deliveries show up....

Rumors of batch1 refund here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=262052.msg3461670#msg3461670

I think we should do it unless they can guarantee us to ship it with enough extra hash modules to ROI.    Undecided

The shipping date of 31st of december on B1 is unacceptable, we were told that there would be a 2 week delay, this is acceptable. Not saying I am happy about any delay but things happen.
This new delivery date (if it applies to us) is a real letdown. Considering we have multiple units on order we need to have a clear and concise response from Hash Fast ASAP.

Next week will already be 2 weeks delayed and no indication of them being ready to ship, not even in 2 more weeks. Without some additional hashpower to compensate these will never break even.
It's a damn shame, I really thought they were going to be close to delivering on time but now I'm getting that avalon anxiety all over again.  Sad

Well, we're a democratic co-op.

You guys/gals let me know if you want me to open voting for this.  I'm bummed about the delay too. I'll support whatever the majority of shareholders decide.

It's your co-op, I'm just lucky enough to happen to run it.  Grin

We will have to wait until HF makes the refund available first. Personally, I'm jumping right on it mainly cuz I paid with BTC thru bitpay August 9th.

Oddly unless I missed something it seems the upgrade module would still be profitable even if shipped in December.

http://mining.thegenesisblock.com/a/f326b15abf

We should probably keep that even considering the additional components required.

We have a few choices to make.

Hash Fast should give us an update as to how they plan to deal with this situation. As of now they have not made a public statement. All I know is that they are late and can't say when they will even assemble a working unit.
Icedrill will make an update report on Teusday, maybe that will shed some more light on the shipping issue as they are there largest customer.
For me Hash Fast has this week to make a statement or my mind is made up.

Nice thing about being in DZ's coop is that there are many choices of GB's, we can't expect every manufacturer to deliver as promised.
I wold be happy to transfer my shares to a new DZ GB if Hash Fast doesn't work out and refunds our order.

If they are talking weeks worth of delay, about all you can assume is that their chip failed.  I'd be wanting to take any refund offered just as soon as it was offered.
