What can i say, that article is a really interesting article over nothing on a website of nothing. Quite weird, that they had to pay/contact the website to publish... Such nothing.
Website probably contacted them... as the website has contacted a lot of people and asked for articles about their "projects".

So the article is just the result of the same vague marketing answers as always or they promised them real dates that they can't give to their actual customers?

People who bought before August 15th and are looking to obtain a refund, HashFast has told me that there is internal arbitration going on for this matter and that a decision about whether or not you will be able to refund your purchase will be made by Monday.

I'm confused as to why only those before the 15th of August are being considered. The Batch 1 ship date was always advertised as the end of October, the only difference was a stealth change in the fine print. The December 31st date was only widely known once the shipping was delayed and the TOS was used to deny refund requests. Selling October delivery (for a premium over later delivery) and then shipping at the end of December is simply unacceptable. Here's an idea... honor all refund requests but allow other customers to purchase their vacant queue position for the same price.

Batch 1 will be shipped before Dec 31st, and HF anticipates that batch 2 will also be shipped before this time but cannot guarantee this claim given the current delay they have experienced.
Now that is a worry and seems to be lost in all the other good news.
Remember, unless these are being shipped by Father Christmas himself, you can use 31st December as a date but the days between the 20th December and 6th January are likely to be holiday for a.) Ciara b.) DHL / UPS c.) The recipient.
Given Christmas is a rather busy period for shipping and customs, anything not out of the door by 6th Dec stands a very good chance of not arriving in some parts of the world until at least 6th Jan.
The 20th Dec - 6th Jan dead window is possibly also true of any missing component that is holding up completion of the products. If the substrate is not received by 20th Dec, it's unlikely to magically appear until 6th January at the earliest.
Obviously I don't know what the holiday arrangements are of all concerned but we can be sure the holiday season will add further delays.
Unfortunately companies use the holiday to their advantage so can point blame later on due to holiday delays and shit downs. Not the first time this has happened. BFL did this same thing and slivered by a whole holiday period with no opposition.

So, advertising exclusive deals with Ciara ( never heard of them anyway ) and Seasonic doesn't ship a product earlier. I'm a KNC owner, hashing as much as I can and wish HF all the delays possible.Even though my miner wasn't put together in a real large huge building that you can take satellite pictures of and didn't come with a Seasonic power supply I've roughly made over $1k on my way to making a little more.
Sorry, its not personal, its business.

I would disagree with this... I ordered on the 18th of august. I well knew of the 31st deadline. I even conversed with the company by telephone to ensure that I would receive a refund in btc if I paid in btc. I am pretty sure there was discussion here about it too.. not going to dig thru posts.

The discussion was something like -"hey, there is a 31 Dec refund deadline". -"but they say that they are in line with an october deliver, and we trust them, right?" -"yes, also because if they deliver in december they screw us all" -"i agree, it's not gonna happen, hf is not bfl" ... Or not?

dude just because they are advertising does not mean the unit is delayed 25+7 days. It simply means thye realized to keep the ponzi up they need more sales. But in all serious this does not mean that there is further delays. It simply means they want more sales and that baby jet could be from batch 2 or even 3 they never mention which batch it will come from and if it will have an MPP which i doubt it will

Its clear exactly whats been going on from the start. Hashfast makes a sick deal, sells a crap load of machines when market was at like $120 and gets them in stock prob 3 days later. Decides to mine for themselves for 2 months and ship late October. easy money. then what happens? they see market is now at over $200 and realize that every day they stall they make a crap load more money. so its in their best interest to ship as late as possible and continue to mine for themselves. Smart no? they say we promised no matter then end of December so technically they have no reason to give the machines to us. Every day is more coins in their pocket. I would have done the same thing in their shoes. I bet if market was at $50 they would have delivered machines to us early. win - win for them. Please tell me if anyone here agrees with me. Do we actually believe it takes them 2 months to make these machines? or is it more likely they wanted to build them with our money and mine for free for 2 months. And now they are being even greedier and mining bec value has gone up even more? Think about it. Nothing we could do.

Interesting concept. Have you any evidence to support your theory?

It's the same conspiracy nonsense you could find in the thread of every single ASIC product. Best thing to do is just add people who spout it to your ignore list and move on.
