Is Telegram the new measure of ICO success?

I big Telegram group does not necessarily equal a solid project. However, what it does indicate is a lot of hype, and hype equals quick profit. I use Telegram to sort out which ICO's are quick flips, and which are long term HODL.

Telegram has a big impact in ICOs life, we cant deny it that being the talk of the channel will strengthen the ICO,  being an investor/trader i will not depend only on how popular these ICO telegram group are.  I still have to check everything before moving forward.

I don't think that you can relay on the dimensions of Telegram group to evaluate the success of an ICO.
It seems to me that other parameters are much more important.
But sure, a big group is a good sign.

I do not think that telegrams are an indicator of the success of an ICO company. As for the telegrams of users who are subscribed to the ICO, it is 90 percent real people, but it still will not save you from the quality of the issued product!

I think the quality will suffer or will be lower than claimed? Their team is strong, I can handle it.

Yes I agree with you telegram is the new measurement of ICO success and it is one of the strength of the ICO project because the people want to know the project are asking through telegram channel and if the admin are response immediately to the queries it means that the project is reliable then if the volume of the members are crowded we can say it a great project and a successful ICO.

In my own opinion, I think telegram is just one criteria to know how successful an project is going to be.

You're opinion is right, additionally, telegram is also a way to make a campaign successful, if there are lots of people know about the campaign then it has a possibility to success by supporting it. I think they use telegram to disseminate the good news of having crypto or the campaign it self(ICO).

I always follow the activity of the team in the telegram.  I pay more attention to answers to the question about the project,  activity in the chat.  But if there are too many people in the chat room, it's not good.  Since I conclude that these are bots.

If there are a lot of people in the chat, it does not mean that they are bots. Personally, I ask questions in the telegram channel quite rarely, only if necessary. Basically, I just follow the latest news of the project.

Yes, it's certainly good to communicate with the project team on this forum, but it's much more convenient to do it in telegram. People get used to convenience very quickly, therefore telegram is so popular.

Been seeing projects' Telegram groups blow up and I think that's an attribute of success. Personally, when I find a project, I do judge them by their social media presence. How active a telegram channel does say a lot with their demand.

Not really because there are alot of spammers evern in telegram. The real measure of success of one project is the continuity of the roadmap, the patronage of the people and the ability of the team to make their project be ome reality. Though telegram is a way of communicating to the project developers, it is necessary and may have contributing factor tonthe use of telegram in the success of one project.

Some projects are using bots and they're not reflecting the exact audience of the Project. This is bad because it's impossible to differentiate them.

especially investors can easily get answers from the developer, which means we as members in telegram know about the development of the project in a transparent and find out whether the project is a success or not

I believe that Telegram will be more than just social network in future. With ToN/Gram project it will become a very convenient tool to make payments via any kind of crypto. It's a big step forward.
