Good question, but I think you would need to hold the tokens to see the benefits otherwise there is not much point, you could buy a load of tokens and sell them immediately and still receive "free money" essentially.

If I understand the calculation of the dividend on the GIFCOIN ICO page correctly, it will be calculated in $ and paid in Ethereum. Then it doesn't bother me, if ETH fall down.
