I think they will accept other major coins, because some investors might have their funds  on these coins, maybe some sort of exchange section will be created where major coins can be converted to GIFCoin.

It's really possible that they will accept other cryptocurrencies, not only it will give them more potential members, also, it lessens the transaction of users or investors to invest here as they don't need to pay for fiat and just some fast transaction on crypto.

I agree with this. Accepting other crypto as paymeny may help the project gain more. This instance, the project may gather fund fast and  will be successful in the future.

Why should they accept other cryptocurrencies? You can pay with BTC, ETH and LTC, these are the three most popular payment cryptos. This one actually has everyone in his wallet who is interested. I see no advantage in other crypto currencies, except more effort for gifcoin and therefore more cost.

I think you should go through their whitepaper properly, it will give you a clear picture of what this project offers, asking if a platform is used in creating token is pretty confusing and Gifcoin is an ERC20 token, as for the profit, they do such annually to holders, which has been thrashed here earlier
