if i see from annual trend of bitcoin price, i would like to agree with you, this 2018 has become bloody year for most of cryptocurrency price. starting from the end of Q1 and last until today, we cant see any sign and possibilities for the majority of cryptocurrency price will rise or the bull market will comes soon. i think this year would be the downfall of bitcoin. i hope in the beginning of 2019 bitcoin price will rise gradually and start to reach the last all time high price.

Who knows that the Bitcoin will go down or up? No one knows it right, we should not say something about the Bitcoin’s price and there is no worry to comment on it. If you look that value movement is fine than those movements which we had seen in past so if Bitcoin can recover in those situations then its value can start to increase from this position.

It's already happened, because when this year 2018 cames price alrwady decreased 70% of the highest price and now price is 6400 dollars plus. But i believe in the nexy year 2019 that year will be the highest increasing of the bitcoin and I hope that really happen.

If volatility means downfall, how can the stock and futures markets survive to the present? I really don't understand why the market's turmoil always makes people panic!

I think bitcoin prices always experience something like this when prices become very expensive, surely one day the price of bitcoin will fall and become very cheap and you should be able to use it as best as possible, events like this have happened when in 2013.

*Newbie Here!* Because of fluctuations in the value of bitcoin, is 2018 going to be the biggest downfall of bitcoin? What do you think?

We must be aware that the price of bitcoin is subject to the laws of supply and demand of the market, so there seems to be insufficient reason to think that suddenly people will stop being interested in bitcoin and the demand for this cryptocurrency will disappear in this year. I am convinced that, on the contrary, we are only in a first stage of market growth and bitcoin still has a lot of room to grow.

if seen in 2018 there was a decline, but the decline occurred because indeed at that time Bitcoin was said to be a bubble, and that might be true, and now Bitcoin has recovered, if it returns to $ 10,000 then it is safe for us to trade

It was the year where long correction happened, and that is acceptable since bitcoin and altcoins went overprice in 2017 and in the first few months of 2018, and that is the reason why until now altcoin are still struggling because people are not investing anymore because they trust bitcoin now since it's stronger and able to slowly recover.

then what about the year 2020? after bitcoin halving, will there be another mega dump? like in March 2020, it's terrible.
I hope the price of Bitcoin is better and more than $ 8000
