Only your own analysis, as a basis you can take the analysis of experts from different rating sites, or reviews on the project. The study of the white paper of the project will also help.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

What did you expect? At first you will come across a solid scamm, but with experience you will be able to more carefully select projects to participate. I can advise you to pay attention to the number of high-rank participants in the subscription campaign.

we can not avoid such. You should be smart in terms of projects. Do you read the white paper and then telegram to learn about the project to find out if it is not a scam.

I am a newbie just trying to grow on this platform. Within a week of participating in altcoin bounties, 2 bounties I participated in have been reported as Scammers. I get a lot of reads on my articles and Social media pages. I cannot keep encouraging people to invest in these altcoins if they would eventually get scammed. How can new bounty hunters like myself differentiate between a genuine bounty and scammers bounty?

First of all you can share links on your articles here. I think that this bounty campaigns have the strong reasons that views of your articles are fake or maybe you was not in line with bounty rules.

If you are a beginner, you will not start to understand at once, yet it is better to rely on the opinion of reputable portals about new projects.

Reading the white papers or articles does not work any longer nowadays. All those articles we see online are written by bounty hunters which may and may not be true. Just research the project team to see if they could possibly be scammers. Some may also put people that are trusted as their sponsors, partners and team just to deceive people into believing their scam.

I also came across a hook to such projects. But that was at the very beginning when I was just starting to participate in bounty campaigns. In that time I took different bounties which were advised by the forum participants and didn't even carefully consider the project and the team. But everything comes with experience. Now I choose good and worthy projects and before carefully studying them. And often I choose campaigns from the same managers.

ICO is a modern way of attracting money to the business, what is it that does not suit you so? The only negative thing I see is the lack of regulation and control over observance of investors' rights and principles of honest business. This is the most democratic way of raising funds, which is not yet in regulation, or new collection mechanisms.

Fake ICO bounty are from fake ICO itself. Bounty campaign is now very popular in crypto community and scammers or hacker get opportunity to run those fake ICO. So for me we need first to find if the ICO are real managed by real team. What I mean is to try determining the team in each ICO so scam bounty will be avoided. Also  not just fake even real campaign can't payb after because of not reaching even the soft cap. So better to pick carefully of those ICO with high chance of success and have investor at the back

Your advice is obvious if good. I wish everybody spent their time on deep analysis of projects and distinguished them! From my point of view, it's impossible to predict everything cause there're well-prepared fraudsters who create the chain which is dangerous even for large investors!

Its not something new fake bounties have been around for sometime now and there are legit icos too.so what you need to do is to do a lot of background research about the team ,the project, road map etc .Those are some of the great ways to deal with this fake ICos.

Forget these tokens. Participate in another bounty and next time choose carefully the campaign. Now 50% + bounty - fraud and do not bring profit

A few days ago I get a project that failed, though the week will be finished soon but as it turned out the project failed with a not specific reason.Even being careful, sometimes we are still sloppy but just think of it as an experience,I am also a newbie and still learning, there's nothing to regret but supplement the science because the more experiences good or bad should have the knowledge that we can also more and more.

Yes youre right, but sometimes the time wasted with useless in bounty with a long period are also very disappointed, already high expectations and prejudice to the bounty brief other but the results can be unexpected.Indeed from the beginning we've got to get ready but his name is the human sense of disappointment is definitely there because of the time spent for something that bad results.

Each of us at least once, and maybe several times dealt with scammers or projects that just could and did not develop. In any case, there are culprits scammers or a bad team of developers. But we can not avoid this, even with a very good and thorough analysis we can make mistakes.

First read the white paper, and follow there roadmaps, second know the bounty manager if he has a good reputation and words of honor and thirds search this kind of project and finding probability documents n order to know thats this project is legit and 4th follow this project into twitter and telegram if they have so many project roadmap flows and lastly the community manager of that ICO project campaign is a good communicator and accept  so many question and open minded then thats ICO is legit and genuine bounty.

Try to avoid them by obtaining information. Check their team, Whitepaper, problem-solution, their promotion on social media. The residence of the team is important as well (if you see countries like Malta, Singapore, they are the most likely not going to be taken down by the government). Then try to find manager´s past bounties, how were people responding to him in the announcement/bounty chat. No one can ensure that this particular is going to survive the ICO phase/manager will reward you like he should, but you can definitely minimize the probability of this problem

The best way to avoid being scammed is to always do research, there is no way no one can make decisions for you when it comes to the ICO that you should participate in. When you find a bounty that you are interested in then you should look up the project and their website to know if the coin is any good.

One way, research. It is not easy and it can be incredibly boring but it really is the best way for you to figure out which bounties are scams and which are not
First you are going to look at the team, make sure that the faces behind the project are really the ones that are working on it.
Then you need to look at the product, then make sure that it is something that is applicable in real life. Once you have this two, you are dealing with a good project.
