This might have a negative impact on crypto market, but there is a positive thing in it. Facebook is banning only misleading advertisement s related to cryptocurrency, which means it bans those adsvwhich are really doing scam. And I think it's a good idea.

Was it an official statement by facebook or just some social media fake news? I don't think facebook would do that. They are earning profits from advertisement traffic and they have no issue at all with bitcoin. Just my opinion.

I think facebook will do everything(I don't mean something negative or criminal) for their own well-being,they will do everything to earn much more money...Why? for example today we see less facebook business pages, less conservative pages and groups because they want more paid ads to earn and earn.that's why I think ads for bitcoin will not be prohibited in the near future, more importantly there will be more bitcoin ads than another business ads, because its something new for society which must be broaden, because its not as easy to understand as for example concrete X product's essence. So for me and I think facebook's regulations related to bitcoin is not right, first of all by this way they are limiting people's will to do everything in free competition in free economy.that's our choice.

That is a pretty strong move from Facebook, but they do have a history of making rash and unpopular decisions. I think people will gradually move away from Facebook as their censorship and nanny state ideas have basically ruined what was a useful tool.
I thinks it a wrong news information, because until now people can advertise bitcoin in facebook or other kind of ICO campaign and i m the one to prove that, because facebook not probihited an ads in bitcoin ICO,because all have a free will to advertise or promote all campaign in your wall.the only things that facebook banned are those who sent a pornographic video, and picture they erased that contains to maintain the image of facebook in good advertising social media ads and site.but this cryptocurrency continue to its own advertisment. Thats true, that there is the wrong news about advertise bitcoin on facebook, but as we see now there are still crypto advertise. Everytime we get online, we see that bitcoin will appear immediately. So this wrong news was scattered only the people who against btc. But it cannot bring the bad effect to the investors, but despite of this bitcoin was still on the facebook that advertise.

They are correct on the grounds that the site is presently utilized by genuine and trick ICO as free ads of their ventures. I simply feel frustrated about those genuine ICO on the grounds that they where going to boycott too without exception yet perhaps the Facebook acknowledged how much cash they will going to gain in the event that they will going to gather expenses for these ICO in which other web based life will take after this move too of gathering promotions installments.

Does facebook do that because facebook will issue its own coins? so he is afraid of competitiveness by ICO or other Coins but it is still just a news where facebook will issue its own coin. Or other reasons for ICO and Bitcoin still have a lot of uncertainty and determination in this world. There are still many countries and people who refuse so facebook may be wary.

When facebook banned the ads for ico and bitcoin I have seen a significant impact on the social media section of the project. But it's not really a big deal. In addition to facebook, we still have other social networks like twitter, linkedin, medium, reddit ..... we still do advertising work when we do not need facebook.

The real problem is facebook is rampant with scammers trying to lure in ignorant investors into various schemes by using crypto buzz words. There are hundreds of scammers out there offering cloud-mining services etc that are obvious scams. "Earn 0.5 BTC daily, we have the machines, you just attach your wallet" and crap like that. One guy I just saw last week telling users they just need to load out a wallet and link it to him to use with his Antminer S9s, and he has his S9s "programmed to earn up to 80% of the wallet's contents per week", as if the amount of BTC you hold in your wallet somehow makes the S9s mine that much more profitably. It's amazing what complete garbage some people will buy, but I guess these scammers figure if people will buy Bitconnect tokens and OneCoin, they might as well try to bilk them with a mining scam. Makes me sick.

This was one of the biggest FUD happened in the cryptocurrency, there are some people thought that facebook totally banned the bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies, they don't know that it is just the advertisements, not the cryptocurrencies ,because there are some ICO advertisements and those ICO are scam.

Facebook is a haven of scammers, I think they do some blocking or banning for a reason, its never been safe for a Bitcoin users usually newbies to stay on facebook for long, back then I always got random message from a stranger with their own fake website for phishing, and for an ICO they can promote project that's not even legit and reliable and use ridiculous offer for promotion to gain investors whose not even know how ICO works.

Why they ban ads for bitcoin and ico? Maybe they think this ad is SCAM or something like that? Or they think bitcoin is illegal? But i hope that not effect for bitcoin and ico.

Crypto currency users who use facebook are huge. Facebook is including the main media in crypto currency advertising so that if this facebook prohibits advertising crypto currency and ICO then facebook will get a loss. How come? Facebook will lose millions of users. This will bring a decline in the existence of facebook. But in fact, to date, as we see that Facebook still allows advertising crypto currency and ICO. In my opinion, facebook has considered its decision so as to discourage its intention to prohibit advertising crypto currency and ICO.

I dont really use facebook for crypto so i am not sad to see those annoying ads go. Think i saw the WePower ad a 100 times at least. They banning all ads because they wanted to prevent people from advertising what the company is calling “financial products and services frequently associated with misleading or deceptive promotional practices.”

I think that Facebook was not popular social media in the area of crypto industry. I think now comparing platforms will have more importance in this situations. And hope their rates will be realistic to help people to choose good projects. I am often looking at scores of www.icoguide.com the platform is very good and the scores are trustworthy, it seems that they are not paid. So I can recommend the site.

Maybe because many ICOs scam in market right now. Many peoples exploit cryptmarket when market cap rising above $300billions dollars and scamming peoples and thats why facebook and others social media ban ICOs promotion

What does it mean is an ICO advertisement that leads to web phishing? or is it a ban related to social media campaign? Because now facebook campaign can still be done. If one day facebook ban ICO and facebook campaign feared other social media will also take the same steps.
