Many but not all gamblers are claiming they gamble for fun and pass time. I was just thinking. If it is the reason why people gamble then why not play online games? There is a lot of good and challenging onlne games wherein you can interact with other people online?
thats why gambling is addicting,because the intensity of the games,when you trying to beat the opponents or banker that will steak you a money or somthing in pot,thats why gambling is different from online games,i am a gamer my self ani admit i more love to play games than gambling,but sometimes when i got to gamble,it gives me this winning target and it feels more exciting |

I found it more intense and I am more thrilled when I am playing with my money in the gambling rather than playing some online games, But I am also playing some online games to past my time I just gamble when I am really bored . |

Online game is just an all out expense, there is no reward or what so ever like gambling. And if you wanted to join a tournament, you will still spend a lot of money and then at the end you are not sure if you can win that tournament. It is almost the same as gambling. But well, mostly the excitement online games (mmorpg, moba etc) brings is far different from gambling in a casino. And different people prefer different kinds of excitement during their leisure time. |

They find it more enjoyable when there are bets while they gamble. Before I was only looking for fun but when I'm starting to make some profit with gambling I realized that its more fun to gamble for profit rather than gamble only for the entertainment. The logic is that if you want to have fun then why not put it to the extent that you are also benefiting with some money on the side? No offense here but i am curious. Do you most of the time win? If your do no question to that for sure it is not just enjoyable but satisfying as well but, during loses, do you still enjoy it? I think the enjoyment they feel here is the thrill and anticipation that somehow they will or might win. |

Online game is just an all out expense, there is no reward or what so ever like gambling. Money is what the driving factor in gambling rest actually if you understand people do not worry about the loss/win. For example if you had won the good amount and still if you lose 20% of the win amount say you will still not feel bad about losing. Its money that people want to make form gambling and thus they may not like the online games played where you do not get anything. |

Man, it's like to ask: Why don't you play assassinms creed over prince of persia. Really, it's similar question. Everyone has different taste, for some people poker and blackjack is good, for others some arcades and etc. Everyone finds different thing for fun. Usually people gamble for getting profit but if anyone claims they gamble for fun, that's great if it's reality. Agree, everyone has their own pleasure. Not everyone likes to play online games including gamblers. We have different tastes. Look out there! There are some people who willing to do a very risky thing like climbing the mounthain and so on just to get fun. |

I was an online gamer before i played a lot of online games then before i quit a particular game i always sell my items, character and gold, playing online games is very time consuming, sometimes i wasn't able to go to school because of games that is why i prefer gambling over playing online games because i can gamble anywhere, anytime i want and it can give me profit but of course not all the time. |

A Gambler is once a gambler even though you involved them in online games or in gaming they can make it gambling too. Gambling is not only all about playing braha/cards or dice. You can do it in every game we do such as basketball, volleyball, etc about sports. So, if that person really want to quit gambling he can do it on his own. |

The kind of game is different in gambling and online games and I believe the thrill they get from gambling are much better than online games. Another thing is that in gambling you winnings can be converted into fiat even if it is not your focus but having some sort of reward out of gambling makes it more interesting to do.

That is because people want to have fun while getting money at the end. Playing games is fun. However, getting a reward at the end is more fun if you ask me. Do you get happy if you play an online game and get a rare item after you win? If so, it is the same feeling when you win money after the game.
Plus, people are very greedy when it comes to money. They want to win no matter the cost. That is why they lose afterwards and are left with nothing but a regret. The ones who win the bet will surely play again until they become addicted.

It's not just for fun of course, they want a profit. Once you enter a gambling site your main aim is profit. I guess the reason why they are saying they only used small amount because they are just playing for fun is mainly they are afraid to lose big so they only trying small amount and saying those fun thing. When I was still in gambling, I never intend to have fun but for profit. Fun is only achievable if you are happy with the result of your playing.
