I think you shouldn't use the word "WE" but you can say yourself because I never gamble to make money but if I make a profit then happy. Don't think that everyone will be like you.

looking for fun can be without gambling.
watching the comedy drama that can be considered a pleasure.

Yes, I can spend my free time on other activity to get fun but gambling also one of it so only sometimes I play games not everytime I'm bored will go to gambling. I have fixed some money for these games on monthly basis for fun and never exceed that for any reason.

So let me revert the question to you. What do you get from merely playing games online? JUST FUN, right? You cannot realize profits if you just opt to play online games. If you do gambling, there are chances of winning and thereby realizing profits. Gambling is also fun but there are associated risks because it involves money. You may say you may lose but this kind of loss is something that comes natural with gambling. It is presupposed that you entered into it with open eyes, knowing fully well the risks that it will bring you. It may be for the good or for the not so good but all of which can be controlled through the amount of money you will only allot for gambling.

We do have our own way to have some fun, I'm not sure how do you convinced those people who's engaged inside gambling to play online games instead, as they have different approach to have some fun or to use their spare time and money, but in my own opinion both are not good if we engaged too much and uses our precious time from time to time.

Gambling don't require much effort in making tactics to win or to defeat opponents since it is use as stress reliever for some, betting and playing it will only based on what's the player wants or feel that will going to win, meaning gambling is effortless game but when you do online games you need to think quite deeper which I don't think stressful mind of gamblers will want to take.

Not all people do have the same interest in life or the leisure that they do seek out.Online games might be interesting for some but not all people would really jumped in the same ship.There would be always a guy who do seek out more thrill in life which would involve money and this is where gambling would take in. They do feel the thrill and at the same time they do possible earn the money.

As Oilacris said, we all have different perspectives and preferences when it comes to the leisure we enjoy. I personally think that people would prefer gambling over any challenging online game because these games does not have the real deal when it comes to the winnings. In gambling when you win, you feel a certain vibe that not any online game has can make you feel. The reward (in this aspect: money) is really a big factor on why people prefer gambling. For gamblers, nothing can beat the feeling of being entertained and at the same time winning some cash. The vibe is just really different that I am having a hard time expounding on it!

Yeah, I also asking same like you to the people that if anyone have no enough money to play gambling and also for addicted gambler who can't live without playing games, then it is better choice for them to play only online games, it is too much better for them because here we have no fear of loss money and also we have fun and entertainment.

I agree, gambling without any money feels like playing basketball versus 10 year old kids. It's just too easy and it gets boring after a while, plus you don't get anything even if you win... Besides there are better games to waste your time by playing them.

Thinking of it aren't online games costly too? I mean some of the games are basically free to play but if you look at it additional things such as skins, exclusive weapons and items, and also lottery tickets can be bought. Just like Dota 2 and CS:GO they earn millions of dollars from their players. Basically gambling and online games are all part of a business one way or another they will earn from us if we decided to be a part of it. We cannot really avoid spending money just for our entertainment. Even you if you think that social media is free, than you better think again as the products they are showing to us are specially targeted for us, meaning we are their target customers which gives us a higher chance of buying them.

Yes they are mention already in gambling, the thrill, excitement and most of all if you are lucky one there's a chance that you won a huge amount from gambling. On the other hand while online gaming, well, i admit that i play also on that but after an hour i fell bored in the game i did not fell the excitement, for me online games were you always lose especially if you are renting a computer in internet shop.
While gambling is risky but if you are lucky you have a profit.

It's not just for fun of course, they want a profit. Once you enter a gambling site your main aim is profit. I guess the reason why they are saying they only used small amount because they are just playing for fun is mainly they are afraid to lose big so they only trying small amount and saying those fun thing. When I was still in gambling, I never intend to have fun but for profit. Fun is only achievable if you are happy with the result of your playing.

And also the thrill are different when you play certain game put some money on it compared just to play a game without stake something, the expectation there makes the entertainment factor are so perfect make people addicted to gamble over and over again , sure it's ended up with money / profit as an orientation.

I guess it is a matter of taste, some people prefer card games, dice, slots and other 100% luck based game than something where skill is needed.
To win CS:GO match you need to know your stuff, however, you don't need any kind of skill to roll the dice and win if you are lucky.

I think we should consider the age of those who do gambling and those who play online games. Majority of gamblers are grown ups which I don't think will enjoy online games while the latter are young ones or teenager which will not find interest on casinos. There is different thrill from casinos and online games and this maybe the reason why gamblers do not want online gaming.

Do you mean playing online games like Dota2 or Crossfire? This is a teen games in which only suit for the young age. The matured is not fit of this kind of excitement like 40s and the 50s above therefore gambling is their choice for fun but booth games will ruin their lives if they will not play it moderately because it might forget their family, friends, work, studies and god.
