I really agree with OP there are so many gambling games where you don't use the actual money and since it barely for fun they can play those games, People may go in for the fun but in the end, it's going to be all about the money.

They not similar online games are different to crypto gambling like the knowledge and their fun too,In online games we play it to have fun and good for past time also but if you think more we can't earn in that so it's no future,In crypto gambling even you risk some money still we can earn here while we play so we have future here,we can invest our earnings here in campaigns and faucets to trading and some gambling site so i say we can take risk with no lose at all,all we need to do is to learn for the win.

But honestly it is the excitement and fun that makes people addicted to both gambling and games.  I do agree with you but somehow had add-on in it.  The thrill and fun of winning money each time we roll a dice or push that slot button is the one that made us to be addicted on the game.  The bottom line is, there is fun in winning money and the add on of thrill that elevate the effect.  If there is no fun nor thrill I bet we won't be playing gambling games.

Yes, it's purely for the excitement aspect. The feeling you have when gambling it's not the same while playing online games. It's not even about necessity to earn money, because money could be made by playing online games and selling accounts/game's money/items later for real money.
