There is no current alternative to replace Bitcoin and that is because Bitcoin hasn't failed yet. There are several hundred coins lined up to try take that position though if Bitcoin ever does fail. The crypto economy can survive without Bitcoin but I think a lot of confidence would be lost at that time, although a recovery to me would seem inevitable.

I agree that there isn't any replacement for it now because it's the very first kind of technology for its function. However, since we're talking about surviving, then I could say we can. We have survived without it before, and so, we can even when it's gone. But, the thing is, it's hard to go back to our old ways in this every changing world. Technology is made to make lives easier and more efficient for those who can use it. Bitcoin, or in general, cryptocurrencies is one of those things that make it easier for us, that's why it's difficult to be way from it, especially if you have been used to using it.

Once a transaction has 6 confirmations, it is extremely unlikely that an attacker without at least 50% of the network's computation power would be able to reverse it.

Yes we can but people's helping bitcoin will depressed it and not easy to overcome if it loose, because their sourece of income will loose also.
For my opinion,we can survive without bitcoin because before we know the bitcoin we survived our lives. We don't have to be dependent in bitcoin only because if we will depend on it we will not live in this world. We have to work or to have a regular job for us to live and to survive our daily lives.

Bitcoin cant be overthrown that easily how many coins already with their own blockchain try to pass Bitcoin but until now no one was succeed. Also we can survive without Bitcoin but it was a huge blow for people who only work at Bitcoin.

Technically, yes, there are many implementations of blockchains that do not use bitcoin. But it really depends on what you define as success and who you ask. Arvind Narayanan, a professor at Princeton, believes a private blockchain (e.g. one that does not use a cryptocurrency like bitcoin) is just a confusing name for a shared database.

If you define success as permissionless innovation – the ability for any person to be able to build applications or transact with a blockchain without needing permission from another person or organization – then yes, you need a public blockchain like those of bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, etc.

Absolutely it can, and it will. Bitcoin is merely one of the first and most well known uses of the blockchain technology. There are many more possible applications of blockchain technology currently being developed.

Of course it can. Blockchain is merely a method how we store and log events and data. Although finance industry is a natural beneficiary of this system, there are lot’s of other applications.

Many of us may have read that 2018 will be game over for bitcoin.Every now and then have seen that every Tom, Dick & Harry Coin claims that their blockchain technology is better than bitcoin and they will solve the real issue with bitcoin network but in reality no one is even close to that.

Is there a alternate to bitcoin to replace it?

Can this crypto economy survive without bitcoin?

Bitcoion is not the only cryptocurrency in the crypto economy, who knows if Bitcoin will fail in the next years and another crypto will arise that will be ahead to bitcoin and satisfies our needs. We are just saying that crypto economy can't survive for we are being hang to the trend of Bitcoin today but the reality is that a lot of cryptos can also be on the line.

It is very possible specially nowadays that there are a lot of altcoins and services in line with it and these altcoins specially those who ranks within the top 10 in the market are now much more established. They even getting more and more popular as bitcoin started to reach its peak and lose its potential for growth.

I can not imagine what if bitcoin no longer exists because anything can happen and we can not predict it, but I will always think positively, as long as bitcoin is still there I will keep trying to make money and I will use to make my own business for my future

As we know it, Bitcoin has been the foundation of the world of cryptocurrency. It has been the reference and the reflection of the rise and fall of the market. Since the incident about US and Bitcoin, the market got hit so badly the the Bitcoin price slowly to falls down and dragging all the other coins to fall also. In a whole Bitcoin has been in a red zone. What is more refreshing is that it is recovering slowly again and bringing the other coins to move up again. So without Bitcoin, the market will be a huge chaos.

You can survive, we always manage to recover from an invention and another, economically also, we have done it with the falls of fiat coins, during wars in difficult times, this case would not be an excess, the important thing is always to protect yourself economically and keep good finance strategies.

Yes we can survive without bitcoin, but I guess all bitcoin users are sad without bitcoin. All are being hopefull that bitcoin is the key for everything specially for financial stability. Bitcoin always help people earn and sustain our daily needs. So as long bitcoin is still here have to double our time and make an extra effort to earn and be profitable. And always be hopeful that bitcoin will last up to the end so that more people are being benefited.

Yes, we can all survive without bitcoin because obviously this was just created in the year 2009 which means that we all survived long time ago. To be honest, there are many resources in order to earn just like buying bitcoin and holding it for awhile. As the matter of fact, bitcoin is not the only crypto currency that has a big value because there is Ethereum, however it can't be used for transactions but Ripple can be used. We just need to explore because there are so many things that only needs attention to know its worth.

Even before the time there was no bitcoin by all mean we have survive. Our survival does not depend on bitcoin. We, can survive even without bitcoin. Tom, Dick and Harry Coin as alternative to bitcoin I don't think so, if the means is the same it is still the same.

Of course yes! In the bitcoins themselves, there is no need. It is necessary to introduce new useful profitable systems using blockchain technology. This is the future of the economy and our entire life. Today I studied one of these platforms - SAFINUS (https://www.safinus.com/) Who will tell you about this?

Of course we can live free and survive without bitcoin you can apply that job and find a job. but in the event that bitcoin leaves us, it is also a great loss for our everyday lives as we always have bitcoins. The human race could survive and evolve with only basic principles of commercialization and trade, fair trade, real trade of raw materials first hand without a formal form of currency (or where the coins are the same thing).
