It's hard to find many faults here. People can (and should!) bring up concerns and the "what ifs" - both of which are hugely beneficial and stand to shake out some of the loose bits of the business, but so far we've seen nothing but transparency and honesty. If things keep going down this path, as I'm betting they will, I think we're in for a treat. And by 'we', I mean society - the average person.

This has all the makings to be the first legitimate attempt at bringing bitcoin to the everyday consumer.

I don't wanna look like a cheerleader, but this is what we were waiting for, a "real world" bitcoin application, like it was predicted, with this system, there will be people using bitcoin without knowing they are using it...

This is all very real. I am sitting beside Danny right now after accompanying him at meetings all week with various vendors, contractors, potential merchants, etc. This is not some pseudo-entity run by some nerd in his garage. This is bitcoin business growing up.

KPMG were announced as a strategic partner, they are participating in the lobbying efforts also.

The process we are undertaking to becoming regulated has been provided.

We have the first Bee merchant, however we know this will be huge news for Bitcoin in general, so it the news will be managed accordingly.

We have taken delivery of the offices.

The interior designer will be providing first drafts of their proposed designs for our branches within 10 days.

We are entering into both the insurance market (through a carrier) and the international remittance market (projections will be released when ready).

We have 2 seminars planned to introduce Neo & Bee to the merchants, with many surrounding interviews with the media (mid-november).

I am giving a presentation at the Cyprus International Institute of Business on both our businesses and Bitcoin, their conference is based around innovations in finance.

I will always be around, however realistically I cannot be here over the coming months as much as I currently am able too, so there will be an account that is managed by our head of marketing, to keep everyone updated in relation to our progress. News releases will also be pushed out from more official platforms.

If I was in a position to answer hourly questions, the first thought I would have is that I am obviously not working hard enough. Something I can assure everyone will never be an issue.

Oh come off it. There isn't an endless list of scenarios like SR being shut down that could have this level of impact on bitcoin. The business model behind N&B isn't risk free (no one is arguing the contrary), but it certainly has a substantial list of reasons as to why it will succeed and few that would end in despair. SR shutting down prior to N&B opening is fantastic news as it removes one of the likely crash scenarios and also helps remove an avenue of ridicule and distrust that bitcoin has shouldered this whole time.

To cite this as a negative for N&B, especially at this time - prior to opening, is shortsighted to say the least.

Do you believe this kind of volatility will remain indefinitely? If so, why?

The SR unarguably tarnished the public view of the bitcoin technology (rightly or wrongly). The value of bitcoin is independent of its ability to purchase drugs over the internet (although it's good for that too - it's good for a lot of things). The fewer shaky pillars (which SR most certainly was) the better and more legitimate the technology will be seen by the public.

I have to believe this will only make bitcoin stronger over the long term.

Also remember that a projected rise in bitcoin price is only part of the revenue stream for N&B. They demonstrated what they're able to withstand as far as a price crash is concerned.

Through establishing a local rate that isn't reset with every trade completed on the public markets, the current market conditions we are seeing right now will provide many opportunities for us, this is also one of the predicted "what if crashes" that is now being played out before we launch.
