UPDATE: today I already recieved a replacement for the damaged device.

UPS was very fast. Took them not even 24 hours. Thanks to bitmine for resolving this problem fast.

New device is happily hashing away together with its 800 GHs twin: http://eligius.st/~wizkid057/newstats/userstats.php/16bWt62xq5rmQuGscq7L7GuZfYmZkkvN5x

What I don't get is why eligius shows the devices hashing with 800 GH/s each, when in fact I am letting them run in turbomode of about 950 GHs?

Can anyone explain the discrepancy here?

Thanks.

as far as i know
in short: device shows you the hashrate including hardware errors
pool shows only matching hashrate.
thats the discrepancy

Yes, but when I switch off the Turbomode and let it run at nominal 800 GHs, then eligius shows only about 650 GHs...

so not sure what's happening here...
it's like I have to let the devices run in Turbomode so that I reach the nominal 800 GHs at all.

I understand that CoinCraft Rig production status is one of the main concern right now. While I would like to be more specific I cannot give you an exact date where production will start but we currently estimate CoinCraft Rig production to start next week.

Please understand that to run a company like bitmine means having to cope with unexpected setbacks like the one we had to face today: for some reason we still don't understand swiss customs hold some parts we needed to assembly the units for orders of today and tomorrow. This issue postpones the delivery for some 1-2 days, all customers whose orders have been hit by this setback have been contacted individually and a new delivery date has been given and the reason explained. We expect to communicate more frequently problems like these to our customers, as we understand communication plays a key role and customers don't like to be kept in the dark about what's happening about their orders.

This problem doesn't impact directly Rig production (as production was anyway set to start next week, when all parts are being delivered to us) but it makes me impossible for now to give you an exact date when Rig production will start. I will give you a more detailed report of Rig production not as late as monday, and hopefully I will also be able to communicate an exact date when production will start.

What I can advise to customers waiting for CoinCraft Rigs orders whose orders begin with 2xxx or 3xxx, if they can't wait any longer, is to contact our customer support team to ask them to change their orders from CoinCraft Rigs to CoinCraft Desk and hopefully their new orders should be delivered within 10-15 days, while I have to ask customers with orders 4xxx to hold on, as their order are still being covered by the Customer Protection Plan.

For any personal request, please contact our customer support team and you should receive an answer to your inquiry within 48 business hours. Thank you!

I placed an order Dec 3rd (delivery 2 week Feb ) , never received any email since then , asked for a  refund last week , never received any email response.
Have 2 more orders for 2nd week in March. would just prefer to get a REFUND now at this stage and not pay over €1000 in vat when my box arrives.
not even worried about the 10% , you have had my money now over 4 months and 2 months late on delivery.
Can just have a Refund ?

This is exactly my situation as well, except my order was for delivery January Week 5. I have been told that I can't get a refund until 13th April.

I too don't fancy the VAT bill on top, as any benefit of having the machines has long gone.

I am also happy to relinquish my 10% extra and just have a straight refund. That will give you two more desks to sell or send to people lower on the list or rig conversions.

I would also gladly take a refund now without the 10%
I'm 99% sure that they will not be able to deliver my last week february delivery within the 61 day deadline

What's your ping time to Eligius?  If it's high you could be losing shares.  If it is due to high response times and not just your internet pipe then I'd try a local P2Pool public server - http://p2pools.org/btc -  Although P2Pool can take up to 72hrs to show your correct hashrate.

No, they haven't yet. I will ask them again...

but at the moment I am just trying to figure out how to setup the machines the best way so they hash with optimum.

hm, eligius.st doesn't let me ping it, I get 100% packetloss when I do a ping on a computer that is in the same network like my two miners.

but doesn't that have to do with the fact that they are being DDOS allthetime lately?
