I mostly consider the team first. I do extensive research about the team considering every information they provide about any member. I usually follow them to check their previous activities for the past years.

This is not so difficult to do, we need to carefully consider the website, we need to check the team and check how the support for this project works, well, it would not be possible to look at the ratings on various platforms

It is difficult to find good ICO and avoid scam projects. Scam projects are very attractive and look better than real projects. I wait that moment when will be some tools or projects as Menlo.one for recognition scammers.

It is hard to know at first unless you will exert a great time and effort to research everything about them.

but it is eash at the middle or the end of ICO if they are scam.

there are no updates anymore, they have no development.
website is down, no more team member in the telegram.
the ICO wallet address is empty and the develop got run away with it.

Now almost all projects are SCAM most of the projects without even going to the stock exchanges, and teams stamp projects one by one without stopping and it's impossible to distinguish scammers

Please tell me how to known a scam ICO to protect myself
BTW now i should buy ICO coin or buy coin on exchange?
Thank so much

Buying ico tokens or buying coins are basically same. Anyone can get scammed if not careful picking those.
If you buy it on Ico, you can get some bonus usually. But if you want to buy from exchange, you may get cheaper price but there is no guarantee that the project will reach softcap because you dont buy it on ico sale

This is difficult to do, even the most promising projects like envion collected 100 million dollars and eventually turned out to be a scam project. We need to study the team and white paper, and to some extent hope for luck, but 100% no one will be able to determine the project scam or not.

To find out in detail the ICO scam, I think there is no way. But to prevent you from participating in the ICO, maybe you can do it. By first seeing the vision and mission in the future. And you also have to see the team to find out if the project really does ICO. maybe by looking for it you avoid the ICO scam.

I think it is best to check the team and the advisors of the project to find out if an ICO is fraudulent. Teams have to have multiple connections on their linked and their mentors were once advisors to other famous projects

It is very hard to find out whether an ICO is scam or not. But there are some tricks to get rough idea about the project. Check that the project team members should be visible and there should be active social medias. Take a look on White paper and Roadmap for Project and Check the possibility of them.

Never share any of your account information and private keys with others. All your projects, emails, applications, etc., require you to provide a private key, which is a phishing project. Never share Private Key.

How do you know that all projects are SCAM, cause the word almost / most is about 100% of the total ICO's in the blockchain are fake that should i understand the way you distinguish. Actually there are some ICO's are fake and scam but for you choose good project most importantly is the team adviser are real owner. Plus the BM that has several campaign done successfully.

Buying coins on exchange is much safer but sh*t happens anyway, and Poloniex approved it Wink If you want to participate in safe ICO just monitor all ICOs on NEO - there are no scam here because not all people are allowed to launch ICO on this platform. Very valuable advice, highly recommend to pay attention

there are many ways to help us avoid scams, first look at the project team was successful or not, then we are looking for a web merkak on Google for the image to be used, after which we will get a hint if emang is a fake or native Scam with Tamara, if emang they open the original project, automatically run A, but if False only B or not related to their project ratings at all

To find a successful project:
1. The team - work experience in the field of blockchain. Participation in conferences.
2. White paper, code.
3. activity in social networks.
4. High ratings
5. Collected investments - softcap

Always be wary of large profitable investment offers, this is a form of hitting the psychology of young investors and not much knowledge of the market, vulnerable to the scam artists. Entering into its investment model, the specialty is multi-level investment

Listen to your sixth sense, the subconscious collects more information than you expect. Do you believe that five years later the project will exist? Is this a real business or a HYIP to collect money for a pocket creators? Evaluate the team. Before you open a whitepaper, look at the team members. Do they have a background in the industry? Were the previous projects successful? Are you ready to entrust your money to them?

To recognize genuine and false ICOs, you should first watch whether its white paper is customary! Does it take care of the general population demand! Second, you have to watch their groups. You can even effectively contact their groups to speak with them etymologically. This is the most immediate and compelling way. You can comprehend the subtle elements of numerous activities from the correspondence!

You need to look at the technical document, the composition of the team, the roadmap and on this basis to draw a conclusion

Project is not clear, team DEV is not clear, goals and strategies in the short and long term is not, maketing is not true.

you can hardly tell beforehand. otherwise nobody would have invested in Envion or Pincoin. scam you usually notice when it is too late. even a good whitepaper does not protect against scam
