It might be a known bug already, I am not sure:

My "Est. Unexchanged Balance" shows the same amount since 3 days:  0.00068604

It hasn't changed at all, no matter if I am mining there or not!

There must be some error in the calculation, then...  Wink

(Note for admins:  I am using a different username on the pool.)
Noticed this as well. Also, the length of time on the current round is busted -- possibly just for the current round on 42, though? Maybe intentionally so as not to tell everyone else how much we're mining 42? LOL. Anyway, I'm not sure where that ranks on the list of things to fix, but "current round time" seems pretty trivial to implement.

"We'll give people another day or two, and then re-enable Payout Threshold payments."

Yeah, right. The same message has been there for a week now and threshold payments are still disabled?

"Worker additions or modifications are currently disabled. These will be enabled again very soon."

Yea, right. Same story.

WTF is going on with the pool?
Maybe they should just put up the old site and code that got hacked instead? Seriously, I'd rather have things done right than to have them vulnerable to another SQL injection or whatever.

This site is their business which makes the admins a very good chunk of money.  Its pretty sad to keep hearing the same old excuses of not having enough time.

It would be great if you could follow through with what you planned out a month ago.  Its not like your not being paid hansomly for running the pool or anything....

What is pretty sad is to think that we make a good chunk of money. I would love to see your logic behind that considering we have given ALL of our profits away to recover lost funds.

Eventually will we make money? Yes we will but we both have full time jobs and have families to support. Any free time we have is devoted to hashcows and we both love what we do here at hashcows but the time spent running and rebuilding the pool from scratch and all the headaches, the pay is no where near what you are thinking.

"Handsomely paid."

Wow!! Where did you get that idea.  atriz and nearmiss are not paid professionals, they are doing this on the side.  Like everyone else in this game, they're just trying to make a few bucks on the side and (I assume) have hopes for more in the future.

They paid back every coin that was lost, and at least for some of us, that buys a heck of a lot of good karma and PATIENCE.

If you're not happy with management, try another pool.  No one is holding a gun to your head and forcing you to be here.  I'm sure atriz and nearmiss would like you to stick around and mine, but I'm equally certain that they are tired of all the whiners demanding that someone hold their hands.

Try multipool, try Trademybits, try anything, but stop acting like a 5-year old.

I am getting an apparent surplus of "getwork failures" here. Not sure how it affects hashing, but does anyone know if I can do something on my side to alleviate this just in case? Maybe setting up a higher queue? Or do these mostly occur during coin switches/interruptions?

Let me know if I am doing something right. Smiley

Goodbye!  And please, when you find a pool that can also magically influence the altcoin market, let us know.

I am no longer going to respond to anything as an argument is doing nothing but wasting both of our time. I'll leave you with this thought, when you were making a great return were you complaining? No? Ironic that the pool uses the exact same formulas as before. I wish you the best of luck in the next pool you wish to join Smiley

FYI

For all of those "scientific notation" numbers, start at the decimal and move it to the left the number of spaces shown by the number after the "e" filling any blank spots with zeroes . . . eg.

5.4321e-2 = 0.054321
65.432e-4 = 0.0065432

and of course your own example (if "e" is a positive number then you move the decimal to the right) .

Soo - to try and withdraw that will cost you! according to this from the site

"The minimum payout for any coin is 0.001 or the txfee, whichever is highest"

Surely this doesnt apply to 42coin too? 0.95BTC per withdrawal? What am I missing here?

Sorry if this was addressed earler in the thread, couldn't face 142 pages of scrolling.
