I just got my Blue Fury today. At least I think it is. That is the question I want to ask. My Blue Fury is blinking Red lights and not Blue?! Are my Blue Fury? or is it Red Fury. I just picked it up from Outcast3k!!  Huh

look here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=299295.0

below the pic they say that batch 2 will have a red led again.

maybe the blue leds were not in stock when manufacturing your device Wink

Red or Blue? It's the colour of the PCB, not the LEDs.

I guess I got the batch 2 Blue Fury. The PCB is Blue, and the blinking LEDs are orange and red.

Hi OutCast,

I would tracking number... possible?  Wink Wink

Thanks and regards

Trying to get the list compiled tonight, so I can mass send the tracking numbers, but it's taking longer than expected. I might not get everything done until the morning but they will be on their way soon.

I got 2 small heatsinks, I've seen photos of a mixture short/long. It looks like there is just a random mix, I guess they couldn't get enough of either size.

OC I know everyone wants a tracking number but any chance we could get them asap. Been waiting in all morning for my 2 packages and would like to know if I am getting them today.  as I understand it the postage payment included insured special delivery which guarantees next day special delivery so my thursday package should definitely be here today and I would hope my friday 1 is here today too. if we have not had special delivery paid 4 can we get a refund on postage cost considering the massive price rise in btc since we paid for them,  to get delivery on a saturday usually cost a few pounds extra can you confirm that was paid on our orders

You, and everyone had them sent special delivery, the problem is special delivery isn't guaranteed for a Saturday delivery, some of you will get them some wont, those who unfortunetly don't get them today will get them by 1PM Monday.

Also as I keep mentioning, only part of the shipment I sent Thursday made it onto the lorry, the rest spent the night in the post office because it took too long to process, unfortunetly I couldn't say whos got sent thursday and whos went out the next day.

I've got about 10 more receipts to match against my records before I'll be able to mass mail everyones tracking number, there was just too many tracking numbers yesterday, but I'll manually send a few now to those who are desperate.

*EDIT* @qukkM, Sent your tracking numbers to you, both say "We have tried to deliver your item from our P******* Delivery Office before 10:17 on 09/11/13 and we have left a while you were out card." but you've been moaning at me about non delivery since mid day, so I'm not sure what to suggest other than to check your letter box.

if you post something special delivery on a friday they will offer the service at an extra cost to guarantee delivery on saturday,  it is usually 2 maybe 3 pounds more for saturday guaranteed delivery considering that since we paid for postage the beacon price has more than doubled I think it would have been reasonable for you to pay the little bit extra to guarantee these unit arrived today.

personally I paid 0.36 btcfor shipping my units that works out as about 80 quid at today's pricewhich should have more than covered sending my unit special delivery insured guaranteeing delivery for today

Has anyone tried replacing the heatsinks on these yet?

I have a slightly lower profile (by about 2mm, but with a greater surface area) heat sink which I used with overclocked block erupters that I'm fairly convinced will allow them to sit in the Anker/Tecknet hub ports without the inductors (L2) touching the neighbouring heatsink, that way I can get 10 units in the hub instead of 5!

Just curious if anyone tried this and whether they had any problems (didn't mind experimenting with the BEs so much but these are 6-7 times the value).

Looks like the existing heat sink is held on with some 3M thermal tape that I'm probably going to end up using a precision blade to remove...

or exchange them for RedFury, they fit the hubs.

Just thinking about the people who are having problems with only getting 1.2Gh / 1.4Gh out of their devices and I had a thought ...

Some people don't seem to be sure if it's their rig in terms of OS,  miner software and/or version, USB hub compatibility or power supply issues.

It just occurred to me that maybe people could use the power of the bitcoin community to help pin down their problem if there is someone who has a known good working rig nearby to someone with what looks like a dodgy BF1 device.  Perhaps people could hook up, pop round and have their devices tested?

Mine are running at a steady 2.3Gh with a 7 port D-link hub on a Raspberry Pi using MinePeon, so if anyone in Bedfordshire needs what looks like a dodgy BF1 testing we might be able to arrange something.

+1

Same setup,  same results,  21Gh from 9 sticks = av 2.33Gh  South Cumbria

Just tried, no difference. I will see if going direct instead of via a hub makes a difference.
