Yeah, can't say they're terribly reliable.

The little Block Erupters were infinitely better, yes they're slow, but mine have been working like a champ, even at the 700C they seem to run at.  Cheesy

Now the Nanofury uses this shit hidapi which basically prevents me using them on my OpenWRT mining router, and Luke-Jr says the nanofury doesn't work off the RaspberryPi due to incompatibility with the Pi's USB.  I'm thinking the Furys will be going on eBay, because I'm not running a PC again just for 4GH between the two *fury USBs.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Any sign or indication of when these Nanofuries are going to be shipped?

Christmas is getting VERY close, which means epic postal service fubar. It already is, stuff I ordered from Amazon is taking over a week to be delivered.  Realistically, that means 2nd week Jan before we'll be getting these things if they're not already shipped to OC3k.

Don't quote me on this, I'm just reading between the lines, I don't have a definite answer (and when I do I will update this thread) but from what I've been told it seems like this week they will be on our way to me.

Bitfury are, without a shadow of a doubt, the single worst company I have ever dealt with.

Beastlymac has lied through his teeth to us throughout this whole process and the product has been functioning well below spec.

Utterly dreadful company. This has been a horrendous experience from beginning-to-end.

Thank GOD we had outcast3k doing his best to communicate, even when there was no news.

I'm undecided if Bitfury or BFL are worse.

Bitfury were late, underperforming and unreliable.  I had 50% failure rate with Bitfury.  Still waiting on repair/replacement.  At stock speeds the BlueFury's heatsink was totally and utterly inadequate.  I upgraded the sink on mine, and it still runs at 'holy-shit' temps.

BFL, OK they were 5 months late for me, but both my units are working above their advertised speed, and so far been totally reliable.  They 'just work'.

I'm still not entirely sure what's going on if I'm honest, I've sent their lead guy an email and left some messages on skype over the past 48 hours, hopefully I'll have update soon. With them being based in New Zealand though there is always a delay due to the time difference.

Bitfury are not the worst..............................

Asic erupters 69...sticks 23Gh...cost £3671 including scammers.......earnings over power costs..........November.........19/1

Chili (Mr Teal)    1.. unit 35Gh...cost £512  including duties.............earnings over power costs..........November.........23/1

BlueFury 8 here 2 Ebay  23Gh...cost £897  including duties.............earnings over power costs..........November........135/1

Now we are in December

Cointamination/Chili.......cost £600 and rising.......now no better than BFL (8 weeks late and counting)........0.0Gh

Asic count is now only 68.............RIP 1 asic   22.7Gh
Chili BANG..................................RIP 1 chili     0.0Gh
Blue's...still got 10 sticks.............................   23Gh

By deduction Fury sticks are the most reliable, cost effective, least delayed device on the market..........(for me).................but none of them will ever ROI

Anyone who has returned a unit should receive a full refund. This is beyond a joke.

This.  The current offer of replacing with Nanofurys isn't looking so good now.

I'd rather have the BTC back and get another Cube.  Yes, 38GH for the price of 2GH (near enough).

We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely controlled and dominated, governments in the civilized world—no longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by the opinion and the duress of small groups of dominant men.

I completely agree.

The nano fury will struggle to just mine the BTC we have missed out on mining with our faulty blues.

If/when they arrive, mine are going straight on to Fleabay.  Along with the BlueFury.
