I practice both investing in ICO and buying Bitcoin because I believe this will give me more profit but of course this depends on how much you are willing to put your money at risk. Since you are new here its safe to invest in bitcoin first and observe the market and if you think you are already familiar then you can start looking for ICO that has a good project or you can also buy altcoins.

I prefer to invest in ICO or buy altcoins. It depends mostly on amount of your depo, if it is small buying and holding btc doesn't make sense, better to take more risks in altcoins trading and ICOs. |

I think you should just stick to BTC first , Don't rush the things that you could regret soon investing in ICO is risky thing to do specially if you are just new in crypto currency world, There are lots of ICO that fails and ended up becoming a shit coin so if I suggest that you should just invest in BTC and take your time to study the cryptocurrency world. |

What a timing. Few days ago bitcoin's price was $9,900 and now it was lessen by $1,200 = $8,747. You still have time to buy and if you want to join in ICO decide that you'll not feel sorry if the ICO turns out to be a bad project. Buy bitcoin at $8,700 and wait until it rise again to $10,000 or if you have high faith to it the price might go again at $20,000 or even higher. There are so many predictions that are positive though the market is negative today but who knows if those predictions will be real.

It depends on conditions: price of BTC and ICO you invest in. Choose hype ICO, like quarkchain, merculet and others with top raiting and fast collection progress.
If you don't follow this advice you can simply freeze your money for certain period of time.

If a person doesn't have any experience how to choose an ICO, then my suggestion invest in Bitcoin. Nobody doesn't know how ICO will proceed after raising money. People are finding their own way, to make money by investing in the ICO, in order to leverage their investment.

I prefer btc to buy btc as more scams these days than inveting in btc this might give a huge profit. In Ico more dumping stage when their project is in exchange so better we have to research the good project in an Ico but for me I invest in btc. |
