You must reduce your risks. Do not put all the eggs in one basket. Part of money invest in BTC, another part of money invest in ICO. So it will be safer

Compared to bitcoin, investing in ICO are very risky. So research yourself about the ICO because recently we have seen many fake ICO collecting money without any developments. So investing in Bitcoin is always the right choice for us because there is a huge chance to increase the price of Bitcoin.

I am a newcomer to the crypto market.
Should I invest in ICO projects or would I buy bitcoin to hold and wait for the price? Please give me advice.
Sincerely thank you.
If you have enough time for good research ICO can be more profitable than simple BTC hold. But not all ICO give the same. If you have limited time BTC holding is a good choice

For now, it is the best time to Buy BTC rather than invest your money on ICO.
Even a good rated ICO project can get a lower than ICO price when they hit exchange. Because of ETH price keep going down time by time.

If you are a conservative investor, i highly recommend you choose Bitcoin. If you want to make a big profit in a short period of time, investing in ico is a good choise, but if you want to invest in ico, it is best to know about everything of the ico before you invest,You can imagine how heavy the workload is!

Current ICO market is 95% bullshit and 5% legitimate projects.  Out of the 5%, half will be profitable as an ICO investment.

Bitcoin will continue to grow and prosper.

Weigh your risks and choose wisely BTCBTCBTC

I prefer investing in ICOs, but I do my best to choose very specific projects which can give me a good outcome. That's not easy at all.

As you are a newcomer then I should make you aware that that there are many ICO scams going on these days and the best option is to invest in Bitcoin and keep on browsing the altcoins section of the forum. As the time passes by you will come to know about the Altcoin market and some typical ICO scams so then you can invest in ICO that are popular as if the project isn't popular then it wouldn't attract much money and it would most probably fail.

Both options are good. It would be safer about bitcoin . Of course, investing in an ICO would be more risky than buying bitcoin, lots of scam ico.

If you have more funds then invest half for ico you think is good and potentially, and a half you can buy bitcoin for the long term and if you are satisfied and have a profit then you can sell it.

Today it is more profitable to buy Bitcoin, because it is much more stable than many new projects. ICOs brings losses and does not bring that profit, which many people hope.

That's a rather biased opinion I'd say. Bitcoin is good and continues to play a major role in the crypto market. However, beyond that, there hasn't been real mainstream application and adoption as a currency.

However, the new age of ICOs have learned so much from their predecessors and are doing everything possible to make blockchain evolution more holistic. This includes designing projects that are not exclusively tied to FinTech industries, but also to real-world industries and proffering realistic solutions to real problems. So, the problem is finding the right ICO to invest in.

I generally aim for projects that have MVP-ready products, achieved their soft cap and have a good community support on various social platforms (not exclusively Crypto related).

If you are a beginner and you have little experience, it is better to start with bitcoin. This is a great option for investment because it is reliable. In the meantime, you can take part in the bounty and earn other coins, without investing their funds. At the same time you will get experience and then be able to choose good projects that can be invested.

Which ICO to invest.. that's a hard question. But one thing to look out for when investing in a blockchain ICO is whether the team already has an existing product or prototype, that will actually benefit with exploiting the blockchain for its existing product with new technology.
ICOs are tricky to predict nowadays, but if you are willing to weather the storms then placing your trust in a solid product like the ongoing Eterbase project can have great returns in the long run.

Bitcoin is better than what the crypto market can present now. Anyone who does not know much and much about the technology of blockades right now, all this is due to bitcoin. So buy and hold it not when it will not be a mistake.

Do both, half in BTC and half in ICOs. Diversification is healthy. Just make sure the ICOs you participate in arent crappy.
The second one is hard to recognise...

I think you should buy BTC or other mainstream coins, novices should not buy ICO, so the risk will be very large, you can learn slowly. This is a slow process.

For me, investing in an ICO is now not worth the money we have spent because lately many ICO projects have fallen in price when listed in the exchange. I am more inclined to invest by buying BTC. Considering the fluctuating price, sometimes rising then falling again we can make a moment to get a profit.

I wouldn't grant all sum on something one. The best option, it to divide that sum which you want to invest, on a part and to invest in a miscellaneous. on a part of the sum to buy bitcoin, on a part of the sum to come into ICO
