You should be aware before investing in a crypto, choose between etherum or Bitcoin and do not choose another type to avoid risk, and you should be patient and not worried about problem solving in a condition when the price is cheap.

The prices of all coins will return within 5 years, you invested because you believed the prices will increase, so keep hold of your investment and wait for the bulls.

Sorry to hear that. I honestly think alot of people are in the same situation as you are. Selling at a loss is not an option in my opinion because some point in time it will go back to the price you bought it, the ideal thing to do is to buy more at a lower price to average the price and to hold it until it comes back up. It is really frustrating to see your holdings go down on fiat value but you need time, patience and discipline in order to be able to recover your losses, discipline is the key.

It is not only you, many investors have suffered during this slump period. At present, they don't have much options. The best thing to do is to hold whatever coins you have got and wait till the market recovers. In the meantime, concentrate on participating bounties.

for what do you speak discipline? every person who engages in financial activities must control their emotions. And if you are an experienced person, you can minimize all your risks .

If you have not sold your coins - you have not lost anything yet. You became an investor. You have a great prospect of getting your money back and even making a profit. The main thing is not to panic and not do emotional actions

I think that now it became clear that the best solution- is to HODL your coins. Correction has passed and I think that soon your coins will fly to the moon. Wink

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?
First lesson: never invest what you can't afford to loose..
Secondly: if you can't take the loss I advice you hold... Those coins.. Till December this year

You are not alone here. I made a similar mistakes, trust me each of us, we lost our money. If you lost your money, you have to learn something like how to invest.

Losing money is  part of business. But then what u have to do with the remaining half is to hold it for some few months, since the crypto prices are still recovering.  Perhaps u may get profit that will compensate for your loss

You only commit the loss once you sell. Many times once your emotions lead you to selling, its right when everyone elses emotions are selling as well. Large investors know this, and are buying when you are selling. How many times have people FOMO's in, and then sold the bottom. It's important to learn not to do this. If you FOMO in, hold on tight and don't sell the bottom. Be patient. Its a long term thing here.

You have to learn from your mistakes, it will make you wiser. And next time you will carefully choose projects for investment. The loss of half it's hard, but try to wait, and maybe you can significantly reduce your losses.

My opinion is if you have some altcoin of course you also know how the growth of each coin. Currently the trend is rising. My advice is to sell coins that are not potential and put them in altcoins that are growing well.

One of the keys to investment is patience. You may have passed the lowest period. If this time you still hold it I'm sure maybe in the future you are grateful never sold it.

Many people have the same situation as you, in a different way. Spend more time studying value, losing the psychology of speculation, and returning to the value coin. Sometimes it's important to choose, and many people recommend keeping it, but if you choose a junk coin, you shouldn't keep it and sell it immediately! .

Yes your right. You are not alone in facing that situation because many of them are also lost from crypto but be patience always to make succesful profit.
