The grue lurks in the darkest places of the earth. Its favorite diet is adventurers, but its insatiable appetite is tempered by its fear of light. No grue has ever been seen by the light of day, and few have survived its fearsome jaws to tell the tale.

You and about a hundred thousand other people did basically the exact same thing and are going through similar pains.

There's a reason why the market shot up so much last december, it was because people like you joined the fomo train and pumped tons of money into the market.

But, I do have good news:

You actually haven't lost any money at all!

It seems like you haven't sold yet so you literally haven't lost anything.

There's even more good news!

The market is far from over! BTC will definitely reach 19k again and go beyond that.
So just hold for now, it's the safest thing to do.
Or, take the time to study the market, why it went down, what will cause it to go up again etc.
You can also research future project and alts to set yourself up to make crazy profit during the next bull run.
And it should be happening pretty soon.
Most are predicting middle to late may while others say June.
Whatever the case it definitely is coming.

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

You have described the events of a classical inexperienced investor. Many people who have entered this sector without experiencing or getting the opinions of a real expert are having serious problems with this problem. I hope you will close your losses in a very short time and you will be happy to see that your investment has been appreciated.

I think that the Baunists can not lose profit, because they did not invest their money in projects. so the bounty I think is 100% profit. the truth is that people always want to earn more than they have now.

Chalk it up as an expensive lesson learned & move on. Focus on investing in strong projects & avoid buying at all time highs. If you don't fomo & you're able to hold long-term, you should see a healthy return in profits.

It must be gutting losing half your money in crypto. I try not to log into my crypto saving accounts to often as the more I do the more exposed I feel. The world is full or hackers and scammers and the best you can do is take every precaution possible. If you bounce back from a hard loss, then all credit to your - that's the true mark of a kryptonite.

Yes, FOMO pushed many people to action at the most inopportune moment. So the market is arranged. Those who succumbed to feelings, paid dearly for it. Money does not like impulsive actions. Only a cold estimation.
I just think people are focusing too much on the negative with all the exciting stuff that is actually pushing this market forward. If you believe in your investments, then it just turns into a waiting game.

I think this has been experienced by everyone who joined the crypto, even professional traders even experienced it, but they do not panic and still use the analysis well

If you become an investor then you will have to go through and you will either lose all your money or earn. Have to wait for one of the two options.

You need to buy a little more cryptocurrency at a lower price. Then you will be able to close their positions with profit.

HOdl is the best way if your invested using fiat you have to wait some more but if your invested on eth or BTC for this coin you might get profit . I invested on TRX when the price was 0.1$ eth value around .000125 now value is 0.000139 still i am in profit in terms of ETH investment . So here starategy matters.

I as soon as checked out a coin that I notion was going to moon. I decided to chorus from buying any, and to use it as an exercise in restraint. because it mooned, I saved telling myself, "it is adequate. I didn't lose anything. There might be others." on the give up of the day, nothing has changed for the worse in my existence. I didn't make some thing (financially) from that scenario, however i was capable of examine the upward push of that coin with a few impartiality, and without any emotional urges. i'll refrain from figuring out the particular coin. Being cozy with workout restraint is an important talent in the markets.

Doing what you always do. To continue to increase its capital without thinking about this case. Because you came here to make money, the failures will be, but the important thing is to overcome them and not to lose heart.
