I lost half of my crypto amount! what to do?

So I basically got fomoed. Towards the end of 2017 I saw how high bitcoin skyrocketed and decided to invest in ripple as a test. Less than one week it went up 3x. This made me more ballsy and I put in 11k total in various other alt coins like ripple, ethos, tron, and cardano. After the crash I lost about half of my value just like that. I am frustrated with the experience and wish I would have just put in 1k or something. I wish I could just not invested and went into what I was doing earlier which was just investing the boring and traditional way. Should I wait and hodl or pull out and do something else?

The situation with the market for quite some time is not pleasant. But you do not have to freak out and keep calm. In my opinion, it is best to keep your investments and wait.

XRP is not reliable coin and its basically centralized controlled by bank.XRP is good for short term trading not good for long term trading.Tron and ADA are good choice.Right now market is extremely red so its not prudent to sell your investment hold it and sell it later at high rate when market is fully recovered.If you sell now then you can lose your entire investment so hold your investment.

I think that all the coins should be preserved and not touched until the market stabilizes. Although many experts say that you need to raise new funds to revive the demand for crypto currency. Perhaps the lowest price will have the best effect on investors ..

Your story is quite sad, you invested into the wrong coin in the wrong moment.
But now, all you have to do now is hold, as market will go back soon, and then your portfolio will be better

wait. if you dont need that remaining half of money right now, the best thing that you can do is only waiting that is it. market is going to recover sooner or later and when you remember this time you are going to laugh maybe. patience is very important.

Hello, you do not have to worry about your investments, at the moment the market is going through hard times, but this is a temporary phenomenon, experts predict, the market will recover by the summer of this year so I can tell you one needs to be patient and wait

what really sucks in times like these, unless you tether up - if it goes down for example 50%, has to go up 100%..! 
even if people don't lose faith in crypto, it still sucks knowing you could've doubled your stack

If you have lost half of your crypto amount than hold on, relax and don't panic since the market can recover soon. Many any people get panic at this time,  sut always keep  in mind that  you don't lose anything if you didn't sell any coins yet.

You don't lose unless you sell.  Just be patient and wait a long time.

It seems that you invested at wrong time which has lead to half of the money with what you invested. The you are not alone many more people like you invested in many coins in December and January which are very low now, which makes you think should you sell or not. But not only me but everyone will suggest you to hold for market to be good again.

You have learned your crypto lesson almost like everybody else - the hard way! Yes, every OG or any whale that I know have had losses, sometimes even in 3 figure bitcoins. Its important that you take our your initial investment from crypto as soon as you get the chance, play with the profits.

Something like this happened to me as well, although I lost only on profit. Learn TA, you will get at least some of the money back.

If I am in your situation I will extend my patience and wait for more time to get better the market price the coins I have and don't panic,I will think and act positive and everything will follow.

If someone lost 50% he is still lucky one. I lost more than 50% in late January, and in next two months until now more than 70% because of holding...
