I think the speculative wave around ICOs and crypto currencies is super risky for those who go long.”

He isn't wrong in his sense, if the cryptocurrency is to have a future, they should be able to create an environment of trust between themselves and the authorities.

According to me he is right, there are much bad sides of crypto currencies, they can use them for drug or terrorism of course, but with some changes this can be prevent and for example most of the exchanges want kyc for prevent these things.

There is sense in what he is saying. We've buried our fabric so deep in decentralisation, such that some scam  ICOs take advantage and ridicule investors. Also, I think regulations should come into play if we want adoption mainstream to be a reality. Large scale investors and big businesses are skeptical because the authorities are against crypto. Decentralisation is superb, yes, but we need regulations in my own opinion. For instance, anyone can create an ERC20 token, promote it and scam multitude while enriching himself.
