CORE Magazine March Edition

- Cryptocurrency and P2P News with the Daily Decrypt
- NXT News
- COFINT - Interview with House
- Salus Coin Interview!
- Transpotime21Bus - Chapter 5
- Top 5 SuperNET Slack Chats

Great job, the magazine is very informative. Thanks for the nxt community for the really warm receptive welcome in your forum.

I really enjoy the nxt plataform and the community around. I'm starting to use NXT monetary system inside my website (still in development). So thanks for the platform. ^^

Is this coin dead?

Nope, the developers are working hard on Nxt 2.0. This will be totally different and will help the scalability problem of the blockchain and cryptocurrency world. Nxt will be again the second generation crypto, always on front with the newest technologies and always creating stuff by itself. Jean-Lux will publish a roadmap soon.  Smiley

I heard there are old prominent NXT members that are going to fork Nxt 2.0 as soon as it's released and launch another distribution round for many, many many more interested users to get in. I like this idea.
I think there are only 1000 people or so that ever used Nxt, a new start will solve this. The world needs Nxt, but as things are now, nobody will ever have the incentive to use it.

Pretty sad. I am in Nxt since the beginning and I don't understand why this great technology (which is fully functional) never got more traction. Such a great and friendly community, great devs and constant development. I think it has something to do with the exchanges in the early days where not accepting NXT because it was different and harder to implement, because Nxt was not a clone of BTC.

Even when the Russian government is going to use it, elections pilots in the US and banks in Europe, not many is buying.

I think we need to rebrand FNXT (the motherchain for Nxt in 2.0).

I can only agree with what you're saying, when I checked it out for the first time I quickly realized that Nxt has almost everything in place and running smoothly that other projects are merely talking about and actually getting crowdfunded for. NXT was initially funded with only 21 BTC invested and it's such an amazing platform. Goes to show that people are not here for the technology but for a money-grab at the end of the day.

Hello.

What would the release of NXT 2.0 solve?
I mean what advanateges or features would it have compared to the current NXT version?
Also what will be with the current NXT version after the 2.0 is released?
Will we have to exchange the current NXT to NXT 2.0 at 1:1 ratio or will there be a new ICO?!

It will solve scalability, blockchain bloat. Nxt will be one of the many childchain on the new motherchain. Forging will be more profitable because you forge (mining for old fashion folks) for all the childchains and everybody can make a childchain for each company, product, service. Exchanging assets to assets and tokens will be possible. Waves is using this idea from Nxt now. I think Nxt will have it functional quicker, we are lightyears ahead from software point of view.

The ICO part and snapshot part is very complex. Seems like when you are holding NXT you will get 1:1 amount of motherchain NXT (now called FNXT, forging NXT). On the forum is a lot of discussion about that for months, difficult topic, but very interesting.  Smiley

NXT 2.0 is an attempt to solve the problem of nobody caring about, much less using, NXT 1.0.

The advantage of NXT 2.0 is that it may bring in fresh infusions of cash from noobs who missed the NXT 1.0 fiasco.

Would be cool if someone created a new one.

I just updated the OP from the main Nxt topic for Damelon in line with the new website. Do you like it?
