That's weird I seem to have got the 5nxt I sent back in my account :S

It expired. What deadline did u set?

0.2 hours, what deadline should I set?

0.2 is fine. But there was 22 min gap between blocks and u set deadline to 12 min. That's why it wasn't comfirmed and returned back to u.

Current # of coins in existence?   Cap or inflation rate? Generation rate. Didn't see it in the first few post..if it is in one of the 60 pages, please update the first post with the coin stats.

1'000'000'000 NXT in existence. This is cap. No inflation at all. Generation is from transaction fees only.

Ok. so i still haven't really understood this.  The mining reward is based on the total coins you hold?  Or just the likeliness that you will mine something?  Is it just based on how much you hold?  So say if i hold 100,000 coins.  My chances of mining a block at 100,000 / 1 000 000 000 = 0.1% per block?

In the long run u will mine 1 block of 10000 (0.01%).

Do we have only 1 receiving address?
What are the specs of Nxt regarding anonymity?

Only 1 address. Anonymity is the same as with Bitcoin. A mixing service is necessary.

People attach fee to each transaction. They decide themselves how much to pay. Block can contain not more than 255 transactions at the moment, so when we get higher transaction flow ppl will start competing which will result in higher fees paid.

Suggestion - can you update the original post in this thread with:
1 - the current version number of the NXT client (i.e. the Nxt.zip
2 - a link to the current version

Also, when you update the version on your local machine:
a- do you need to delete all the other files, or just copy over the new Nxt.zip? If the answer is 'no', what would happen if you did delete all the other files?

b- what happens if your account is unlocked on another PC using an older version? Will that cause a problem (i.e. mining, send/receive)?

Which is why I suggested to start a new thread. CfB replied with suggesting that I do it, but I don't feel that I have enough authority to do such a thing. But CfB doesn't seem to want to either.

0.2.3 - https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/67242472/Nxt.zip

a. Don't delete *.nxt files, just copy over new Nxt.zip. If u delete them u have to download the blockchain again.
b. No problems, it just increases orhpaned blocks rate.

I don't want to do it as well. I'm tired with all this marathon.

Maybe c-f-b could start a new 'update' thread with the current version etc.

I'm popping in and out a lot, so It makes it hard to keep up to date. I'm concerned my account wont be mining if its open in an older version.

Older version won't mine only if we have major changes. Like other block version.

It's normal. U should unblacklist them time to time by clicking purple tray icon.
