Most traders were baffled after Ardor hit exchanges, hoping price of NXT 1.0 will recover in the coming days following the Ardor giveaway craze.
that's right thinking that after releasing ardor nxt will booming up but looking on it both coins are
falling and nothing shows any good sign, just hoping that holding this coin will make some profits
in coming days.

NXT will continue to fall. Ardor has some chance of success, but NXT I see no reason it would remain interesting to hold. There is too much happening in the blockchain industry. NXT had a nice run, but honestly how can it now compete with better, more funded projects?

Really f-ed up that Polo didn't even list Ardor but only distributed it.
I never saw that one coming...

All in all a big let down imo.
Expected a lot more from the Ardor launch, but it looks like only NXT enthousiasts are interested in Ardor.

Hope this will change soon !
And we really need some freakin marketing !!
Talk to the DAO guys, they know how to sell something Wink

For me, the developers put the kiss of death on NXT by coming out and saying that they will only support it for a year, or so. Not exactly welcome news. This is a shame since I was starting to get used to the exchange within a wallet features.

I think a lot of people cashed out on the Ardor freebie and that has affected the price. I expect it will rise as more details come out about the Ardor project and wallets become available.

The exchange within a wallet should be inside Ignis too. It's still too far away, there is a chance devs don't succeed developing Ardor, then we're back to Nxt 1.0.

Still holding my nxt I have never seen a wallet like this before. It seems nxt has had features that most devs on other projects claim are new but been here all along. People crying doom now but maybe good news coming.
Any big projects coming before ardor launches?

I heard 'at least a year'. It can be longer then.

I heard 2 years and it will still be running but used for other purposes. Ardor being more the public and business blockchain but maybe nxt will have a defined use.

I agree. We should be here and on Reddit, not posting to "price speculation" on NXT forum

FYI, newcomers!
You can mine NXT in the Lucky node project.
Computational and bandwidth requirements are very low - some users run it on a Raspberry Pi.
Run the node 24/7 or as often as you can while you work or play.
Join in with the over 100 nodes that are already in the project.

I looked at what was involved to participate.  Does that make anything less secure opening up the wallet node with all the settings you specify?

When does the snapshot for Ignis start?

It won't "start", it will be one moment of time when Ardor launches in 3rd quarter of 2017. The exact date is not known yet because it's too early in the development cycle, should become known some time next year.

It really is and once people wake up it may be too late because price and tokens will be under the peoples control by then. The glory of early adoption I guess Smiley

No, there are no more projects "coming" ... except the certainty that the devs will stop supporting it after one year, more or less, from the Ardor launch. So you have a big, fat NOTHING there.

Do you need another NOTHING, also big and fat? ARDOR. except for the very dubious profits of Ignis, of which you, holders, will receive 50%, IF devs keep their word, ANY AND ALL profits from the project will go to the private, centralized, for-profit company the devs just established. ANY AND ALL. So, only if you "forge" you will be receiving some crumbs for helping mantaining the network...

I believe the market is quickly realizing what the sum of ZERO plus ZERO is. More to come, keep on watching.
