Its ICO high risk high reward investment if you decide to invest in this kind of projects you need to prepare yourself to loose all investment or take a chill pill and wait it out for possible profit or at least wait till normal exchange - IDEX or DDEX is stupid idea because some sellers can dump price and as there is not enough volume you just have to go with it, now dont get me wrong its a good place to buy cheap for sure, but its a stupid place to sell if you bought tokens during ICO.
I'm not a cheerleader and I dont have a squad - I'm speaking from my personal experience where I invested a few hundreds in NXT and every other ICO I mentioned and got returns in hundreds of thousands you need to hold or go home with ICO there is simply no other way.

The white paper was always focused on technology. In the land of blockchain/technology the team knew that and always planned to sell XYO via our Gamma Platform. The worst thing to do for the community/token holders actually is to not conduct the XYO Gamma Sale. Have you read about the purpose of the GAMMA sale? It actually changes the percentages of the tokens and affords a better equilibrium between tokens held by the company/stakeholders and by those purchased by the public. Also, the team has stated why they are doing this GAMMA sale. The plan from the beginning has been to reach a target of $48M. Because the project involves creating a location network with the goal of displacing GPS, and even launching their own Low Earth Orbit Satellite Network, more capital means broader coverage faster. The project on offer by XYO is interesting, and there is clearly potential in what they are offering. They do already have a pre-existing network of location beacons that they can use for this product, so that in itself is interesting as it means they have a head-start when it comes to an actual service that is available.

. A lot of people think utility tokens are a bad investment. I disagree. In product like this, there are a million uses for it which creates high volume. Not having a finished product will create no use for the token which creates no value.

Thanks for sharing that article mate, ever since the team announced the exact date for the distribution of the tokens, the telegram group are filled with questions regarding exchanges, glad the team came up with an article explaining their opinions and views on this matter. Personally I think this is a really good move from the team, just taking things slowly is the perfect move, the market is way too crazy right now that if XYO will get added on an exchange, it will be dump for sure, if you notice almost 80% of the tokens that just came out from an ICO are hugely dump right now, I don't know if its due to bitcoin's price or money is just so scarce right now, I'm not sure but what I'm sure of is that XYO is a great project and I'm sure it will be worth more than its ICO price if it will be added on the market at its perfect time.

Given the current price, it makes sense and wait a month for three with the sale of tokens for the bounty. I do not understand why the project organizers can not lower the bar of collected funds so that investors will be happy. There must be some kind of balance. Collect too much, IMHO, hence we see such prices then on the exchange.

it's just the team's decision. XYO team doesn't really require huge amount of investment but it'll be good if they can get more through their GAMMA platform sale

XYO has not officially announced any exchange lists. People are only traded on decentralized exchanges like idex, ddex.

Yes that's true but on the other hand if you followed the ICO sale you could notice that their prediction to sell that amount of tokens was way way too high. Crypto reserve and team portion combined had the majority over public token pool after ICO so logically there was no other way but to prolong sale period - instead they launched gamma.
That might look like a slap to early investors but it actually was not that bad. If I recall correctly ICO sale started 1ETH for 100k, ended at 1ETH for 90k tokens and Gamma started with 1ETH for 75k - this way early investors still maintain better exchange rate.
The fact that gamma was not announced before or even a possibility of something like that is a subject for this and every other teams to discuss and learn not to be too optimistic and overconfident. Gamma was not very bad thing for early investors  IMO project itself and sales suffered more - ICO ended with something like 7k token holder - its nearly a month now with gamma and its ~8,4k holders so in my personal opinion selling is a bit slow, main reason - people dont like unannounced surprises and are a bit hesitant to buy now.

All crypto's are getting hammered. Bitcoin just broke a psychological threshold of 6k. Could go below 5k now. That will continue to be rough on eth and xyo.
Just to finish my thought, I have a metric I'm watching. I won't share the details but anything close to 5k for bitcoin should ignite it again. Could happen anytime in the 5k range actually but pressure will be downwards for the near future. If it drops below 4800.00 that's trouble. This is some sound speculation .
