Will other coins beat bitcoin in the future?

I think this is very possible, but it will only be further in the future because bitcoin is a proxy for cryptocurrencies in the present situation. It affects the price of many cryptocurrencies. For the time being, none of the other cryptocurrencies can Replace bitcoin

It is impossible to beat bitcoin. Now there is hardly a coin that can be compared with bitcoin. Most coins are just following.

judging by the latest rate of bitcoin, its price will continue to decline. despite the decrease in bitcoin, other promising altcoins, for example, Ethereum, EOS and NEO, show growth, so we can say that if bitcoin depreciates, the downstream altcoins will move higher.

I honestly think that there's no way they could beat the almighty Bitcoin. Since it is the world's first ever digital currency and the price gap is way ahead of the others like Ethereum, Ripple, EOS, NEO, Bitcoin Cash and so on, I don't think it's possible in the next several years to a decade. Despite how good they are, they can't get past Bitcoin's price. Just my two satoshis.

No doubt it is the world's first ever digital currency but is it really so far way ahead of the others like Ethereum, EOS, NEO, Bitcoin Cash? Yes in terms of Market Cap there is a big difference, but we have seen how fast values can vaporise in this market and in terms of technology, Bitcoin is outdated...does not even have smart contracts...it needs to evolve or will be likely overtaken, even though this is not going to happen over night

investing in different ICO is quite risky, but it is a great option to earn more profit. Who knows the token you invest will take a lead in the future, and maybe it can compete with coins like ethereum, ripple, neo and maybe as well as bitcoin.

The whole Cryptosphere is still new and welcomes new development... We never can tell the next technology coming into cryptos and thats gonna be a game changer, who knows? It might leave bitcoin behind, being a starter doesn't mean you're gonna stay ontop. Just my opinion.

it is possible but it is very difficult to be realized in this year or next year. bitcoin is considered everyone as the first coin for investment. if there is a better coin in the technology it might happen.

Investing on the ICOs is really good idea but don't expect your token value to go to the moon because most of the token will lose its value when it listed on exchanges,so if you can find which token can ability to have expensive price in the future then it is good idea but for me investing on ICO is good only for short term investments.

with other coins that try to keep growing much more rapidly will surely be able to overtake and take over Bitcoin in the future to become a coin that is very capable to be relied upon and become a major coin in the Cryptocurrency market. thereby requiring increased support for current coins.

Well, it is a question, of which answer might change in the future. For now, there is no such perspective altcoins, as Bitcoin was. Even Etherum will not beat Bitcoin (using nowadys knowledge).

I also think it is a good idea.. But be careful before invest to an ICO.... Because some of ICO"S can be spam .. Also sometimes he price of a coin can be going down than the ICO price of that coin. so Before investing , read the whitepaper and get an idea about the project..

There are no so much coins which may compete with BTC, but that ones which may is not challengable a lot, but I believe ETH may compite for 1st place with BTC one day

Actually it is very difficult to determine what is the next or what coins is match in the bitcoin or beat the bitcoin in the future becayse we know that as foe now the alternative coins are only depends in he price of the bitcoin.

Yes, I believe there will be at least one coin to pass bitcoin's market cap this year. And if not this year, then next year. Telegram's ICO is poised for MASSIVE success. We can't invest in it without $25M, but keep your eye on it once it hits market.

It`s a 50/50 outcome. Everything is possible. Projects like Ethereum have more perspectives to be on the top, but it`s just from the professional point of view. Masses can sympathize to many other coins. But I think bitcoin is much more than cryptocurrency, it's famous brand of whole crypto overall. And I think Btc will be on top very long time.

Indeed investing in icos is good. people making profit in it. but i do think that we will not see any 100x project in current scenario due to downtrend, may be some project going to touch 100x mark but only in bull run. at this moment  icos investors are happy with 5x return, even booking profit in 2x.

Now coming to leading the future scenario. IMHO this is very unlikely that any other project going to replace bitcoin because Bitcoin is a revolutionary concept which aims to gives power to common people instead of centralized power. for each project everything starts from Bitcoin and finishs on Bitcoin. they are trying to be a next Bitcoin unfortunately only on a financial terms not a conceptual framework.

Bitcoin may or may not lead the future in financial terms due to many factors but it will always be a leader to motivate people to create something new out of nothing in crypto world.

only a single currency can overtake bitcoin in value. I think everyone knows what kind of coin, so I won't even speak about it. Of course, other developments are also allowed. I think that Ethereum will be able to overtake Bitcoin in the next year, although now the situation is rather ambiguous and the ETH has fallen dramatically in price. This is temporary and we should wait for now ..

I don't think can be beaten by other coins, we know that bitcoin is the king of all coins and no coins can depeat it But even if other coins will beat bitcoin, it will take alot of times before it happens.

I think bitcoin for us is the most advanced coin, so I think it would be hard to beat its position as bitcoin, because bitcoin value is also the highest value, so I think bitcoin will not lose.

In my opinion in five years there will be alt that will surpass bitcoin in term of marketcap, right now aside from store of value bitcoin offer nothing, there's a better alts for digital currency like nano and there's others alts with better tech and purpose hat will become bigger than bitcoin. That said they need time to do that, ethereum become this big after a few years and it took bitcoin almost 10 year to be like now.
