I think that everything can happen, including the price of the ethereum to become $ 5,000. Many traders forecast such a price in 2018-2019. Everything is possible, it's a cryptocurrency market.

I've noticed over the last week that ethereum is going down while btc is going up. Normally it was going up when btc was, even during the crash they would rise or dip together. That being said, I feel like it will go up, but I'm not sure it will hit 5k. If eth had gains like it did in 2017 when it went from $10 to $1000, then we would see it at $100,000. That would be pretty awesome.

If ETH reaches $ 5000, the total cryptocurrency market cap will be more than 2 trillion.
Is that possible? Maybe yes, if there won't be numerous bad news.

Yes, most ICO's now are utilizing ETH, then the probability of the increase of value of ETH to 5,000 USD is high. I hope and prayed that ETH will even surpass bitcoin in the future. ETH supporters here we come!  I agree but somehow I do not think that ETH can surpass BTC , maybe reach what's BTC ATH but not to over to BTC . Bitcoin will always be at number 1 . Yes it is a thing of course. ETH can not pass btc. Btc has existed for a long time and reached a relatively high price in the market. There is hardly any coin that can beat the current btc price |

Now that Ethereum are used by most ICO's do you think before the end of the year (2018) ethereum will go up to 5000 usd ?
Because for me I believe that ethereum has a potential to get that price before 2019 . What's your prediction ?
I am not so sure by the end of 2018 that the Ethereum price will reach $ 5,000. Because this is very high and market conditions are not possible to achieve such a high price. |

I do not think Ethereum can achieve $ 5000 this year. I know Ethereum has great potential, it is very popular and is used by many ICO projects. But $ 5,000 is too high for the current situation. Now that Ethereum prices are in the $ 700 range to reach $ 5,000, I think Ethereum will need a lot of time and it has to work harder. I predict that the highest price that Ethereum can achieve this year is $ 2,500. Right now it is a good time for us to invest in Ethereum before its price rises again |

Yes 5000USD this year for ethereum is expecting too much...right now it has not even reached 1000USD so we cant see reaching 5000USD This year...my speculation would be only close to 2000USD Maximum for ethereum this year. |

Well I would not tend to say ETH will jump as high as 5000 dollars. Looking back at the past few months time series data, we can say that the prices of the ETH have been rising steadily and smoothly and as a result of this, the demand for ETH has also raised. This gives an up thrust to the values of ETH. In an interview, Ross Blankenship also called as the investing king has said that ETH will be above 2000$ towards the end of the year which makes it the most attractive spot for investment. |

I believed that ethereum can reach up to $5000. But i don't think it will happen this year. Because if we base on the trend. Everytime bitcoin drops all altcoins drop too. I think in 2 to 3 year. Ethereum will reach that value. |

If it is going to happen, the event will be seen in several years only. The market is weak, and it will be in the process of recovery for long. Therefore I am not expecting 5 thousand for Ethereum soon, man. |

IT'S simply impossible.
To see that amount, we would have to go to at least 3 trillion dollars, and that's almost triple the max market cap of the highest prices of ETH.
Forget about it.
This is my guess. By the end of 2018, ETH will be at no more than 900$ due to hard regulations on crypto.

BTC no more than 6k by end of 2019. ETH no more than 300$ by end 2019. Huge market manipulation, huge amount of scammers and hypers.

Although ETH is an altcoin boom as it has partnered with Amazon to improve the trading system. I appreciate that, but 5k $ is a surplus. I do not think that will happen. The price of ETH at the highest level is only $ 1k5. That is my estimate of the price of ETH in 2018. |
