i dont think so, to me ether is being used more then bitcoin for several reason, and if the price where to skyrocket that would make everything more expensive forcing some smaller transactions to switch over to something faster and cheaper like litecoin or some altcoin

if you observe the current state of things but the crypto-currency market, in my opinion, nothing promises positive changes before the end of 2018. Since the beginning of this year, such a trend has been going on for a long time.

eth is super decentral.
its not the fastet AT THE MOMENT,... but it is the most trusted after bitcoin.
and decentralisation will be needed in the near future.

There is no guarantee that ETH will reach $ 5K before 2019.
Now there are many problems with Ethereum smart contract, such as hacking and sudden loss of token.
If this problem is not resolved it is possible that the price of ETH will be destroyed.

5000$ is so high by end of this year, but I think price from 2000 to 2500$ it's possible. It's good coin for investment. We saw ETH with price 1300$ when bitcoin cost 20k and I sure that it's will be again. I think it is impossible in this year. But in next 3 years it can be change.

I believe in Ethereum technology as this has proven useful product but I'm not confident that the price will reach $5000 by year end as with the market situation that we had right now. We had too much resistance as the price is getting hard to reach $1k. Maybe in 2-3 years from now that will gonna happen.

Ethereum will likely rise, but Ethereum is famous for its steady price so that its price will not rise that level in 1 year.
I think it will take much longer.
But Ethereum has a good predicate and is an altcoin that made it into TOP 2 in the Cryptocurrency market.

I do not dare to predict the price of eth to the range of $ 5000 because for me it is too impossible we just see bitcoin prices that do not currently penetrate the figure $ 8000 how ETH may penetrate $ 5000 at the end of this th at least only $ 2000 dollars and even then it is very good.
