Great new article well worth a read and some further research afterwards explaining why Thinkcoin as a project choose Ethereum blockchain and developing on it instead making their own or trying to use BItcoin system.

https://medium.com/thinkcointoken/building-on-ethereum-81654990a2f3

Great read, finally we know a bit more about decision to go with Ethereum as it offers so much solutions that are much simpler then going with your own blockchain.Makes sense to be able to reach a pool of dev talents and even tackle problems easier sharing the same blockchain as other Ethereum based projects.

It really is a great read - a lot of projects have opted for Ethereum as it is definitely more realiable.

How much you raised so far during sale?I see you prolonged sale abit.

Over $5.3m! We reached our soft cap.

So is that enough for the project to be developed as it should?

Absolutely, more money would mean we could speed up development, but we have reached the softcap to develop the product!

Exactly, hard cap would make things easier but i think its not crucial.

I just logged in on the website. You are correct, 0.1 ETH and 0.008 BTC are the minimum purchase. Again, my bad. Thanks for your patience!

Do we have to go trough KYC in order to join the sale?

Yes, you need to complete KYC to receive your tokens. It's a short process, just upload a proof of address and a proof of identity!

It's a good way to make sure you are who you are. Good way for companies to make sure everything is safe.

I dont know,i see KYC as just another way for goverments to be able to track us and charge us tax.I think thats behind all  this KYC stuff, just another way to be tracked.

But maybe im just paranoid Tongue

Companies would avoid KCY in most cases if they could. It's our countries that enforce KYC for this kind of projects to have us tracked and tax us, you are not paranoid, you are right, but we can't do nothing about it, but to accept it Cheesy

And sadly,in order for crypto to become mainstream,it will loose one of the main features, anonymity.

Sure, but you have to give something in order to get something, that's how it works. KYC is one of the first things the governments will enforce if they want to approach crypto in a diferent way.

I think they could be adding more people if they reach the hard cap as they could add some new stuf to their product and that could requier new woman/man power.

You can read more about the team's decision to use the Ethereum Blockchain in this post: https://medium.com/thinkcointoken/building-on-ethereum-81654990a2f3
Here is the main idea: "Ethereum allows us to build the TradeConnect network securely and rapidly. Building on Ethereum goes beyond these practical reasons as well, because it allows us to be part of a wide community of dApp developers. We are able to connect with others working with the same tool kit and on the same infrastructure, facing the same obstacles. It allows us to collaborate and communicate easily with other projects, an invaluable asset in the new decentralized economy the blockchain will deliver."

Good read and it answers the same question for many other projects, so everyone that is new to blockchain should read this.
