just recently finished listening to the ICO 101 interview and it severely piqued my interest, due to my own activities in old school gaming and especially MMO's. I can't wait to see what devs come up with, it's very exciting.

It seems to me that the project really has become successful, you need to make an excellent game and the main thing is that it would be free.

The first game will be in the browser and it will be accessible absolutely to everyone. And maybe it will be free for us. But it is possible that the use of game tokens to buy any items for the game. For example, an inverter for the player. Perhaps when the following games are released from, one can buy for tokens, which developers sell during the ICO. I really wait for the first game from the developers to try to play it.

You have a good point that they will offer some free games at the start so that people can enjoy their platform for free in in just a couple of hours. After that, if they wish to continue this is the time that their token would increased in demand.

Yeah they will soon launch some games with many additional features so it will help them to increase the popularity of platform and also get many investors.  And i think that they have to give more attention on their promotions.

The fact that this project has very good potential for popularity and the fact that the project needs a lot of advertising and PR, I fully agree with this. And what about the release of games ... when will it be?

It may need advertising and PR of course, but within the gaming community the word can be spread very fast and foster adoption of the platform.

Sure, but as of now Bitguild has a completely different set of weapons in their hands. Going to be interesting from a competitive perspective.

Man i would like to point that they have barely 1 month and they already have a pretty decent portal and OCN we waited like 4 months and we only get simple wallet without without withdrawal function

It is always good to see new blockchain projects flourishing but I saw the bounty thread was closed so could not post there at all. Is there any date for when the bounty tokens will be sent out for the work we did accordingly? I actually left my full time job to freelance on the blockchain as I believe in this revolutionary technology that will steer us forward into a new era of thinking and doing business. I also wanted to introduce this project to my Step Son as he likes gaming in his spare time also. I sent him the Medium posts to read up on it forst of course.

They have a token sale and you can buy their tokens. I think they will surely list their tokens on the exchange and they will be available for trading as without exchange a token will find it very difficult to gain high value in prices. This is not the project just for gamers but also for investment.

They will get the token listed some time, but they can't provide any guarantees when that is going to happen.

I think that the fastest listing is not the best idea, because now there are no people who want to buy, they all bought at the ICO

Listing is essential to get the token exposed to the public. If you can't trade it at all you will lose out on a lot of strong holders who might have found out only after the ICO.

BitGuild Portal — Sprint #2

A look at what we’re working on, and what’s to come



A week ago we launched what we called portal v0 — an initial version that included several key elements such as PLAT converter, item inventory, game catalogue, chat, and localizations. Since then, our the first game integration Ether Online has gone on to be the top grossing game on the Ethereum blockchain—and DappRadar doesn’t even show PLAT spent. For this post, we wanted to share a quick update on our current progress and plans going forward.

In the past week, we have been focusing on improving and polishing the portal, migrating to the new infrastructure and deployment pipelines, and more. Some of the key changes include new chatrooms for different languages, richer analytics, and upcoming Ether Online airdrop functionality.

Most of these things are scheduled to go live today, along with our second game integration: Magic Academy! This is an exclusive game for the BitGuild portal created in partnership with another great studio. Yeah, we move fast.

Here’s a sneak peek of what to expect next:
*Three more game integrations we’re working on with our new partners Axie Infinity, Eth.Town and Mythereum.

*Better mobile support. We realize that mobile adoption for Ethereum wallets is on the rise, and more and more players are using apps like Cypher and Trust Wallet to play crypto games. With that in mind, we’re going to focus on optimizing the mobile user experience and work with game developers to ensure that as many games as possible can be played on mobile.

*Marketplace! We’re currently working on our own marketplace for ERC721 tokens that will use PLAT as the main currency. All the games on the portal will benefit from this marketplace by default; no need to build your own if you integrate with us!

In other exciting news, we welcomed two new members to our team this week! We’re thrilled to have Shain and Calvin (both Senior Engineers) on board to help us build a new home for cryptogamers. Why would you say that,from what i know bounty campaign is finished and now we are waiting for tokens.Nothing unusual there,same things happened with Current,bounty campaign finished like 2 months ago,and we are still waiting for tokens.It happens sometimes.
