I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) Shocked and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?
It's just that you are not holding those coins, so you do not have any profit and probably will not. I advise you to look at other coins, which are the most famous.

This is a little bit odd to me. While others are saying that actively trading proves to be a lot more frustrating than it appears as compared to holding, here you are whining about the value of hodling. I guess, we can easily see how the cryptocurrency prices are transforming from very low to moderate to high and then to very high. We cannot even avoid getting amazed when we look back at the old prices of Bitcoin or Ethereum or Litecoin for example. Perhaps you are only a bit unlucky with your coins of choice.

Not really the case for me. My portfolio grew 7x since last 2016 and currently i'm down -65%, not bad at all. And I also believe that I'll gain 300% to 400% on 2018 Q4 and more on 2019. We are on baby stage people so no worries and HODL. But of course do some trading IF you can dance with the whales.

When you chose coins to invest in long time, you had to learn these coins.  I do not understand why you chose them.  It would be better if you played with such altcoins for short positions.  If they are not at a loss, then sell them and buy other coins.

The times when it to hold the coins was profitable passed. Currently, short-term trading is profitable, which allows you to operate with money,
invest in prospective tokens, and promptly withdraw money in the threat of falling prices.

heyy, why you didn't hold ethereum ? if you hold ethereum from 2014,
you already make ROI about thousands times i think. i suggest you never give up in crypto.

Quality over quantity my friend. Grin

I'm sorry to hear you invested in less than important coins during an otherwise great year.

Holding is honestly the absolute best thing you can do for your coins when it comes to cryptocurrencies. Sure you might have to hold for a few years but those few years might just be the years that turn you into a millionaire. Always hold, invest in coins and projects you believe in then hold.

obviously you will not produce anything because the mistake you are doing is holding a coin that has no long term potential. for now I suggest you invest in a coin that has a pretty good concept for the long term is ethereum or bitcoin. try to start investing in these two crypto.

There really is nothing wrong with holding coins, it's absolutely one of the best strategies for long term investments,
the only thing that makes it wrong is the kind of coins you have in your wallet. Maybe you thought those coins would
prove to be profitable in the future, that is why you have so many and kept them for so long. You should also had
monitored your investments constantly just to makes sure everything is in tract or not. Do more reading and research
on the coins and projects you want to invest and more with the ones you've already invested in. This is not a risk-free
market. Invest wisely and carefully. Cryptocurrency can be elusive but potentially rewarding.

Holding crypto is not a bullshit, instead it helps us learn on how to keep it and for us to know when is the right time for us to invest much more in here. Holding crypto teach us that it is risky but we all know that we can handle this kind of job, so take risk.

hold or not it depends on the coin, your coins have no perspective, so you should sell them or just forget Smiley

Holding it is not bullshit. The whole problem is choosing the right coin. It is coins, not tokens. For example, NEO, or perhaps TEZOS.
