Holding its not about how long you hold your coin, its about you sell it in the right timing, if you just hold and dont sell you dont holding but burried your coin, because we must always look opportunity if the price is going up, or you set your target to help you sell your coin

Now I'm sticking to the hodl strategy. But my personal observations: fewer and fewer people adhere to this strategy. The market is volatile and unpredictable. It is impossible to always act in the same manner. You need to change your tactics along with changes in the market.

If you choose a bad coin for the hold and make such conclusions, it's very silly. You have to choose a coin with a good team and a real roadmap

It always depends on the coin that you are holding. For now, I see that holding NEO, Bitcoin, and Ethereum for a long time will finally bring the profit. However, some smaller coins must be traded.

I hold 3 coins espers-(3 years),insane-(2 years),html - (5 years) Shocked and price is the same....no moon ....I dont trust to holding anymore,any suggestions?

Well, it up to your luck mate. Many had already gain their profits because of holding. Like those who hold btc few years ago. They are the luckiest individuals I could think about.

Not all  coins  are bad to hold, it depends on what  coins you hold. I would like to suggest Ethereum and bitcoin they are profitable for holding on long term basis.

Because you hold the wrong coin and it is unfortunate for you. Just pick a coin with no potential and spend a lot of time looking at it. If you hold the right coin, you will make a profit. So take some time and choose the right coin for you to exchange.

Well, I think you hold a coin that not of good value,  there are good coins  that is good to hold especially for  long  term  investment just like for example bitcoin and  ethereum. Do a research first on which coins are profitable  for investment.

It depends on the coin you invest or hold. Because many alternative COINS now cost more. In fact, it's worth it if you have a quality coin that can earn long-term gains or profits, and I know a lot of people are making a profit on it. I think you've got a coin you can't make.

Depends of your plan, if u like fast money, sell and forget it, if u like to try more profit, hold then.
Holding is not a bullshit man, it's a bullshit if you hold wrong altcoins i would say, good projects will serve for his coin, so it is not the end

I think there is not strategy will worth good in this down trend market since hold or day trade is not very useful. Now is the best time to buy back then we will get the profit aroound quaryer 2 or 3 this year but its just expectation and not sure. We just need to do the best effort.

hodl is a good idea. but we need to know what coin we are doing. If it's not a nice coin, there's no need to hodl. but if the future is bright, it would be nice if we do the hodl.

I think that the author of the topic is very excited. Yes, sometimes there are such cases, When a long wait does not bring any result. Well, usually it works.

Indeed, maybe OP lost his profits because of holding for too long, well that can't be help since we can't predict when is the right time to sell or what is the highest peak price of the coin we are holding could reach, losing profits is just normal. Holding is not bullshit if you could manage it well, and if you are spending time on observing the prices fluctuation.

In my opinion your tokens not too good for such hold. Before choosing hold strategy you chould make deep analyze of market and projects that you choosed. I see  much more promising tokens than yours.
