It's simple, you hold wrong coins. Holding is not bullshit, holding random coins is bullshit. You should choose them wisely and also compare the price change in one year to stop holding or continue.

Holding sometimes is really bullshit especially when we buy at the peak and expect the price to keep moving more up but it starts going down, the best strategy is to enter at the dip and then hold and take profit at the top.

I think it's depend in what coin you holding. Holding is good and effective when you have invested into the right coins, research first what coin you want hold, read the project and roadmap.

Holding is not bullshit man, it depends on the token. If you hold that token 3years, 2years, 5years its okay but i will tell you a strategy, when you get your tokens from the project sell the half immediately and then hold the other tokens. So that you will gain profit in the first 50%, and when the tokens get pump for sure you will gain huge profit.

Holding is the best strategy for investors in crypto,everyone knows it,look at the prices in 2017,2016 I dont wanna mention earlier years because it is obvious thing that holders have got the biggest profit of keeping Bitcoin,Etherium,Ripple,Litecoin,Antshares,Stellar and other coins.

I can say that holding a coin is the hardest thing to do these days. You have to build a strong mentality.
Actually, we can't hold some coins before we know the project background. So, basically, holding a coins/tokens also need a good analysis. I see a lot of good projects suddenly become a trash because of many factors. Internal factors probably become the main issue. So, if you feel that your coins don't have any progress, its better you sell it before it late.

Not all  coins  are bad to hold, it depends on what  coins you hold. I would like to suggest Ethereum and bitcoin they are profitable for holding on long term basis.

that's a rather stable strategy, not the most profitable but not so risky as well. Although for risk-lovers a holy grail is a bunch of just post-ICO altcoins. TRON is a good example that holding shitcoins may be very profitable, but you need to spot some obvious features of ICO/token. In case of TRON Bitmain connection was one of the major indications of possible pumps in the feature.

So basically, if you have free time to research small cap tokens  - great, if not - just buy stable cryptos like BTC or ETH. That;s my advice.

It depends on which coins you hold, not all altcoins comfortable for long term investment ,as we know 99% of project will go to zero in the end.

Holding is good only if the coins you hold are legit and promising. You probably don't want to hold these highly risky altcoins for such a long time. It is better to hold big cap coins than some low cap altcoins for long term.

If you research on their site and you follow white paper and the rules. So I believe in these coins it will give bring you huge profits in the future.
