At the end did you receive your miner from asicminermarket?
If so, how long they took to ship it?
thanks!
I think 10 days. So Baikal is also updating the algorithm for the fork? If so, that's pretty awesome man.

Those who bought the early Baikal are on suicide watch atm haha. Worthless for V7. You don't fight against the masses, unless you have a huge advantage (I'm looking at you bitcoin ).

I think 10 days. A lot of people call for scam when talking about asicminermarket, but at the end I think that the real problem is just that they delay with the shipping. I can't find anyone that have been scammed for real. please correct me if I am wrong because I am considering Asicminermarket to buy my next batch of X10 and N

Not so much unboxing, as showing off. Why is it so quiet? Is it not mining yet?

Hmmm the Baikal N+ cost now 2499usd and have an hasing power of 80 KH/s and using 120W . The Halongen X2 costs 3000usd and and 248 KH/s and using 490W. The Baikal N+ to be price competitive should cost not more than 970usd (just comparing the power hash rate and doing some easy calculations) without even considering the much better power efficency of the Halongen. Also some people are already receiving some Halongen miners and shipping with halongen seems to be VERY fast. I am not promoting this or the other company. I am just reporting some experiences and my experience. Dealing with Baikal directly is a pain in the butt. Dealing with Richard at Halongen is super easy and smooth.
Also even if you order the Baikal N that is "in stock" it will take anyway not less than 15 days to arrive. AT LEAST. They are slow as hell at shipping. Also, Asicminermarket is the only company having the new Baikal N+ as far as I can see. So OR they are very "tight" with Baikal or they know how to mod the firmware. I would opt for the 1st option. Baikal started the right way with "right" prices but then they went in the wrong direction increasing the prices like crazy. A ROI of 4/5 months nowdays is too dagenrous to be kept in consideration.

Costs the buyer loads of money during those missed early days of mining. That's when it matters most...

price is too high) only one achievement - low power consumption)
Umm... 20 KH/s for $3600? To build a GPU rig to do that you would need 10 Vegas... Those are $900 each and use 220 watts each at least, so... 10 x $900 + $600 (rest of rig) = $9,600 for the equivalent GPU rig... Daily run time cost.... Baikal - $0.14 @ $0.10 per KWh Vega - $5.28 @ $0.10 per KWh... I'm still not buying one and hope it isn't true... The asic will make the crypto coins without value. Only the manufacturer will get rich and small time miner will stopped mining. Centralization like bitcoin again....

20 kH/s isn't bad at all, but I'm still perturbed that Baikal and Bitmain would mine these until the fork announcement and then they try to dump it on the market. It's just really bad business, especially since Bitmain is trying to push their AI on the market.

I am glad that some people see how bad company BECAME BAIKAL. They just want your money ! They don't care if you will ROI or if the next day the miner will be doorstop.

Weird, I'm looking at the global Cryptonight hashrate and don't see any big changes in difficulty. Thought that we would see a massive spike in difficulty. https://www.cryptunit.com/global

Weird, I'm looking at the global Cryptonight hashrate and don't see any big changes in difficulty. Thought that we would see a massive spike in difficulty. https://www.cryptunit.com/globalYou are looking at the wrong period. Hashrate had already spiked before this chart. Instead see this, https://www.coinwarz.com/network-hashrate-charts/monero-network-hashrate-chart, drag the bar at the bottom all the way to the left and you will see that it was 290 MH/s in Dec and spiked to 1000 MH/s by first week of Feb. 3x in three months. Edit: Actually more than 3x in less than 2 months.
