thx for the well writen post . okay then the l3+ sound much more safe to buy or the giant B whats you opinion on dose miners i will have like 2800 dollars to spend on miners so witch would you go for . btw its 1900 for the giant n and you get 4 for free xD
Dunno if the L3+ is a safe bet, either - the recent drop in price may very well presage the release of a more powerful ASIC miner that renders the existing generation all but obsolete. Again, I don't think any ASIC miner is a good deal because of the manufacturer's themselves. And the $1900US for "1 + 4 free" Giant-N only applies if you buy them direct from Baikal, and I seem to recall reading that you actually have to buy 2 (ie - spend $3800US) to get that deal. But that requirement may not have existed or has already been relaxed; dunno, I don't follow the pricing shenanigans of these jokers too closely since I am, for a 3rd time, not interested in adding to their already fat-n-happy bottom line.

if baikal n is FPGA is it possible the baikal or other developers can change the software to mine like baikal B ? or some other algorithms ? i read some where that BAIKAL N is a opensource

No, it is ASIC, not FPGA (see the photos in this thread). Yes, it uses modified opensource miner as for the software, but the chip is ASIC and it's not possible to modify it.

Does someone know how to mine AEON coin with Baikal N? Nicehash does not support it.

N is sold out now. We have N+, and its power is two times that of N. If you only want N, I can coordinate with other departments and apply for it. Giant-N+: (buy 1 units ship 5 units ). -Price: 3600usd each (shipping charge not included)

Yikes - there's not much left to mine that hasn't been forked, and of those coins that are still using the original CN algo - like ETN - profitability sucks; you can make 7x more per day mining Monero than Electroneum, for example.

Got my new heater (Giant N). Lousy heater cause no heat comes from it, but anyways, connected it to Nicehash and 100% of shares are discarded. Just great! Tried both Cryptonight and Cryptonight Lite. Same results, 0% accepted shares. Nicehash registers the worker but 0 hashing rate.
Does this mean that even Nicehash has closed down their ASIC Cryptonight-mining?
Is there any pool nowadays which Accepts ASIC Cryptonight mining? Or did the Monero-fan club and developers succeed in beating the big guys being Bitmain, Halong and Baikal?
Thanks for inputs! Joskor

Most of hte people bought the various Cryptonight ASICs based on the potential profit that they found online during the past weeks. Which was quite high profit. But they forgot to consider that a FLOD of Antminers X3, Halon x1/x2 and Baikal N/N+ would have been delivered almost at the same time. At the same time = NOW. There is no need to explain what happen when there are just 2/3 poor small coins to mine and HUGE hashing power ready to destroy them. It's like if 15.000 SUPER HUNGRY people have TWO or THREE available fruit trees to feed themself. Can you imagine?

Yeah, you ASIC loving motherhumpers done trashed the DERO network but good. It went from an average of 5MH/s to as much as 100MH/s over the last week or so. Difficulty has increased so much, however, that a Giant-N only makes about 6 DERO per day, which is worth about tree fiddy.
Good times...

Lmao this is quite amussing. A single Vega makes ~$4.1 a day running the various forked algos. 2 dollars a day for a piece of junk garbage that has literally 0 resale value. What a joke. I told you all the vega prices were gonna spike after the forks . Glad I bought a bunch when people were panick selling them for 500 ea. Cheapest Vega 64 is going for 720USD on Ebay roflol.

Yeah, there still are some coins that use the original Cryptonight algo. You can see look them up from here https://www.cryptunit.com/
