I had tickets going back 7 months now.  Yesterday they decided they should all be closed.  I reopened them.

Standard answer

yeah  .. Sad

but you still need to know, that they have in this time 72 Coins in maintenance mode Smiley  so hope that there is some preferred waiting list.

don`t know, but i think that few of us is trying to get DEM back to right positions Smiley

ticket for What?  we have working wallet 1month?

and someone dump price on Cryptsy again . That`s ok with me  Smiley

Tickets for What you ask? Can you withdraw your DEM?  Tickets that complain to Cryptsy that DEM wallet "in maintenance"

I have explained to Mullick working wallet as you say for one month - given github links etc etc

Today they just close all my tickets saying problem resolved?  Not at all resolved.  I reopen tickets.

We should try to get Deutsche eMark on a more liquid market. Cryptsy has many problems. You can see this by taking a look at the service announcment thread of the exchange.

I dont think Cryptsy charges fees on trades anymore - thats free

They do charge for withdrawals - and its just got very expensive lately

So they are losing money already on withdrawals by shutting the DEM wallet

I think a few more will join you soon to get a piece of the action - might get a bit of a spike

I note the sellers on Cryptsy are moving out of the order book..........

I'm not gonna talk about my story ..

Once in the past almost whole Europe savings  money  in DeutscheMarks. German Mark was pride and a stable currency!
for this reason  probably the developers have made a new currency, which is similar to Bitcoin, but also has the PoS! So in my opinion  is better then BTC  Smiley

Right at the start (dec2013) I mined 100,000 DEM, which were worth NOTHING!
then one Sunday, I have  sold 50.000DEM  for 15 bitcoins! (BTC was worth in that time  600EUR)
This was a very good start! Cool
then DEM goes to Exchange . price was very good 0.0008 (if i remember it was few days even  0.001BTC !)
A big reason for the fall DEM prices was the collapse  in  Coinex.pw  Exchange ... you now story that only through DEM wallet people can withdraw their  founds  .. with all AltCoinc including BTC,LTC,... they buy  DEM , then withdraw and sold  DEM on other working markets.....and of course  sold under any cost, so this was reason for "killing"  DEM ... then developers could not make POS working until now.

wallet 1.3 is working fine now...
Because Cryptsy, like the "biggest Exchange" for AltCoins did not upgrade wallet yet, investors are scared.... they need full trust and working blockchain and all other  features like PoS,...

Unfortunately, the unstable situation in Europe show that it will be necessary to have some savings  in the digital currency!
better e-DEM then  BTC  for me...
and finally:
DEM is not Official Currency like BitCoin, so goes through of all Laws Smiley

I have been asking Cryptsy to do manual withdraw for me for 2 months now - first they said they just cannot do this.  Now they just reply - "sorry for the inconvenience"

Cryptsy is in total disarray at present.  There is no progress with wallets in maintenance due to whatever issue for several months now. Some BTC withdrawals stuck on pending for weeks - some delayed 3-4 days. Tier level is not necessarily important - the coin used for the withdrawal is important.

At last count Cryptsy had over 70 wallets "in maintenance".  I have had DEM trapped for about 7 months now (written off - bonus if they are ever freed) - Support and Mullick have given up replying to anyone on wallets. Apart from "apologies for the inconvenience"

Some expect a bank run or just shutdown of Cryptsy shortly - BitJohn has quit.  If you are interested - go through the full thread. A lot is bullshit but many of the issues are real and Cryptsy is very HIGH RISK. I did not really believe it at first because I had had no issues with withdrawals - I now suspect that where there is smoke there is fire.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1173703.msg12984497#msg12984497

The chances of anybody getting the DEM wallet back online on Cryptsy are minimal.

Sorry but this in my opinion is the reality of the situation for DEM and many other coins I have stuck on Cryptsy.

why there is no coins for sale on other exchanges? there is 36000 DEM mined every day, and on exchanges you can buy only app. 10000 and you will reach price of 15000 sat.

here is today`s answer from Cryprsy:

Our apologies for the delayed response to your ticket.

Our DEM wallet is still offline and we are unable to process transactions especially with withdrawal requests. Please know that our technical support team is trying their best to get the wallet back online as soon as possible. However, there are wallet updates that need to be done which takes time.

We greatly appreciate your patience as we work on this and get your coins moving to you. I can send you a note as soon as DEM is up. Will this work for you?

Sincerely,
Karen
Cryptsy.com

I have also a answer from Cryptsy, for the auestion about a update to 1.3:

Quote
If Cryptsy re-enables DEM, we will consider doing the same.

Regards,

Tim
