So does a "reload of the blockchain" mean syncing the blockchain from scratch?  It's a pretty large & old chain.  Has anyone successfully synced it, so I can update it on the site?

Yeah gotta reload from scratch.  I updated to 1.4 a few days ago just to be ready and I amm currently fully sync'd.  Took me about ~12 hours but at the time there were 35+ nodes to sync from.  Right now i have 17 active connections.

I believe the block explorer needs to be resync'd too, they should also rebuild the database for it too.  Will take a while but def needs it.

I think it is not, the blockexplorer time stamp almost three days behind current date and time.

No, it sync very slow. Please have a look at the bottom right corner. There you can se the blockhight.
At this time we build a bootstrap.dat to speed up blockchainsync.

Ich hab mal eine bootstrap.dat erstellt für ein schnelles Laden der Blockchain.
Einfach die bootstrap.dat in den eMark Ordner verschieben, da wo auch die wallet.dat ist und die Wallet starten.
Bei Windows ist der Ordner unter "C:\Users\[USERNAME]\AppData\Roaming\eMark" zu finden.

I run a private blockexplorer and its running fine with the 1.4 wallet not sure about mining though.  I do see the PoW blocks rolling in so someone has it working.  I believe its this pool http://pool.miner-control.de/ belongs to SpAcEDeViL, but im not 100% sure since the block details are listed on the site.

What type of errors and issues are you having ?  

The language barrier between the Devs and the english speaking community makes getting things fixed so difficult google translate can only do so much.

I google translated the German post and something about running the pool with merge mining disabled would/did fix i think not really sure.

so this is a scam?.

Nah the coin has had some issues, v1.2 had a transaction sending issue i believe, and then the time drift vulnerability in v1.3 which caused orphaned blocks.  Current v1.4 wallet is working good so far for mining and staking.

Cryptopia has taken the wallet out of maintenance but I haven't tested deposits/withdrawals yet.
Low buy orders on there btw.  Someones selling small amounts @ 1000 sats per dem  

Yobit wallet back online as well.

Mining difficulty was pretty low last few days great opportunity to mine some DEM cheap.

Coinwarz isn't currently including DEM on its list of sha256 most profitable to mine but when it does mining difficulty will shoot back up high.

I think coinwarz is back in short time, then Cryptopia is also back
