It depends on the bounty allocation, and yes, the amount of participants affect the salary that you could get, so lucky you if you could find a bounty which only has a few participant and their bounty allocation is so big. But we can't prevent other people joining the bounties, we have our own choice on what to do, though if you really want to avoid that kind of bounty, do some research, there is a lot of bounties out there which have limits on accepting participants.

Yes i agree with to put some regulations and rules but dont choose you would be the participants becuase it is unfair for the other. It should be one bounty campaign for one user. So that others can join and the rewards will not decrease.

Yes the more the participants in the campaign the less the rewards you will received. Social media campaign have many participants sometimes minimum of 500 participants so automatically the token you will received are a bit of tokens so its better to look some bounties that has less particpants or joined sig. Campaigs cause there are less participants in sig. Campaign.

Play safe and be fair for all but ut is necesarrily that more people may not do this because there is some users that are greedy in terms of money.
