Hi Miners ! I have a problem with the syncro of the blockchain : "No block source available..."

It seems there are no sources available :
connection timeout
trying connection 69.85.86.195:65534 lastseen=90.6hrs

Any IPs or domains where I could connect to get the blockchain ? Thanks
Michel

I run a p2pool node over at http://us-east.royalminingco.com:9655/static/ so you could try connecting to that domain name and see if it gets you into the network. The port for the coin daemon should be open.

Just want to drop in and say 2 things.

I am still working on UNO, and now is a good time to buy.

We invented Kilograms, and it works so well. I wish we had more services to buy rare products with UNO.

Stuff like vintage whiskey, or limited edition stuff that fits with UNO's ultra-rarity branding.

Maybe rare in-game items perhaps? Let's get back to brainstorming ideas!

Comics! unobtainium seems to fit the whole comic book universe vibe to me. ill ask my gf later she might know if its something in the comic world

and don't EVER keep your money on any exchange, ever; make the transaction and get the fuck out of there.  act like these exchanges are real places and you're walking around there with a pound of platinum in your backpack.

wow, and right on cue a couple days after writing that, the exchange I was using (coinex.pw) shut down while i was in the middle of trying to make a buy.  they haven't given any info and the site developers have vanished;  looks to me like they goxed.  well, at least i only lost about .06 BTC...because I have a policy of never trusting any exchange I only go in with about 20-40 dollars worth of coin at a time for this exact reason.  of course, though it had to happen when someone was starting a bidding war with me.  oh well, c'est la vie crypto.  i get the feeling that the .06BTC i lost will be laughable by the time this UNO takes off

time to find another exchange and keep the train rollin!

Says they are investigating a security issue. That's a shame, I like their quick and easy to use web site and the various mining pools and auto-switch pools are cool as well since you don't need to run wallets for each coin.

yeah, a shame indeed, I really found it to be the cleanest looking and easiest to use exchange.  and the chat box had a nice community.  but, hey, i can't say that them getting robbed or robbing all their customers, whichever it was, surprises me at all.

what exchanges do you guys use?  I don't really care for cryptsy because they take forever to confirm deposits, and as i've previously stated, my M.O. is to get in and get out as quick as possible.  totally open to suggestion here; need to buy more Un

Hi guys

Not a big deal, but just a heads up that both the unoticker and block reward halving schedule are out of whack on unobtanium.io

Can't go much lower than it is now, can it?  I think double O anything is a major bargain for Unobtanium.  004 and 005 - Wow!

I don't know, I think we need exposure to bring UNO back on top of the list in this ever-growing alt market. Any thoughts?

I like unobtanium mostly for 2 things, rare and not premined, last time it was pumped to 0.03, i was sad because had only 50, so this time i'm not making mistake
and buying cheap all i can. Because of it's rarity it can be pumped up easily even by small whales to 0.1 or more. Now what we have on market it's a good thing, we are shaking out of weak hands. Lets see what will happen on next halving soon, last time it started to pump it was day before halving.

I'm a little worried that another halving combined with a low price is going to make UNO unattractive to mine.
Almost tossed away my little 6 GHS Jali, but if I need to, I'll mine this damn coin myself at a loss to keep it going. Currently nearly every Sha coin is less profitable than bitcoin, so there will be lots of unprofitable hash to go around, and lots of idiots like myself willing to keep mining unprofitably.

Seems like a reasonable assumption. I may buy myself a little ASIC just to be contributing to the UNO network.

Hi, just added Unobtanium to my multi-cryptocoin faucet:

http://cryptocoinfaucet.appspot.com/?id=UNO

Currently it is empty because i don't have the hashing power required for this algo (just 1 GPU), if someone would like to donate to the address in the page, all donations go towards the faucet.

Currently the faucet's wallet is synchronizing the blockchain, guess it will take some time before any balance shows up locally.

So far I thought the general opinion of UNO lovers was that the coin is rare and therefore will be valuable without anyone having to do anything. Just sit back and see the demand rise and rise...

Well... It should start rising soon.

Right... ?

Hmmm...

Or perhaps people don't want a coin that they've never heard about because it's been out of sight since startup?! The dev team may be great, the coin may be brilliant, but most people don't care, heck, most people don't even know about UNO. I don't think that's the way to go.

So, yes, the next halving scares me too. Anyone who thinks a halving means that the value will go up has not been paying attention for quite a while.
