this is my own opinion but it may help others.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

Cryptocurrency is not ponzi, where everything is fixed and then an eventual total crash. It is an investment that involves supply and demand, which i would also call a form of market place. Whereas, a normal  market does not also have fixed or continuous increase in price, you should expect the same with crypto.

It is quite normal to expect the ICO tokens to have a dip in price during the first few months of their launch. It is because of the bounty participants that the price fall because there are many people who work in bointy programs to promote the ICOs and then when the tokens/coins are launched in the exchanges, the people dump it to get BTC in return for it. This is how the cycle had been working until today.

2018 was not good for cryptos and alot of people lost alot of investment because of this year and a few newbies lost the trust in cryptos. But still it won't matter, if the guys who have invested in will get their rewards for Hodling because i believe that the cryptos will make their way back with much more strong bullish run then 2017.

Fully agree with your opinion. Many investors believe that the crypto market itself had a negative impact on crypto projects, but I believe that a very small number were good crypto projects.

The apps with Dapp idea and new blockchain technologies (e.g. quark) have a positive feedback. In general, this is a normal situation. The world's changing, and such new markets are changing 3 times faster. It's a necessity, which protects them against death and decline. It's the only way to survive, everything will be harder if more interesting next!

Kinda feel same about this year ICOs too, well i hope there are many serious ICOs that want to change a little of our world into a better place for human kind. Kinda hard to holding some coin/ token that provides from any ICOs campaign or whatnot. The prices would definitely falling down like you've said.

good projects still receive funding and reach soft cap or hard cap relatively fast. but the main problem is a lack of quality projects - they prefer closed private sales.

We share the same opinion, investors are more investing into exchange now, because they knew the price will dip the moment bounty hunters dump their token, sometimes it's much lower than the ICO price, but of course this is not the general rule, there's still a lot of profitable ico in the market today.
