yes it is right because some of coins are distributed to the team and for marketing purposes and when they sell these coins then market rate decreased and one thing more when market down trend start then almost every coin will effected and their rate will goes down,

The trend of prices are not changing at higher rate in this year 2018 and obviously the market are affected. Last year, has a good rate value of exchange but in year 2018 prices immediately down to lower value so for us to be secured wait in a couple of months to regulates prices. ICO's on that time has a potential to gain profit but now I think it is limited.

This would happen, either now or just later but this would be happening in this year. We have been listening to these sort of news that bitcoins would be jumping in April and then may and then June but we are just curious when they would be actually hitting the sky. Things are quite lazy now and people are losing interest in bitcoins just for the reason they aren’t showing up so really.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

According to me we have to wait for the stability of the price for ICO based tokens because after launching the coin bounty hunters and few investors start selling their share thats why price fell down, we just need to hold the same for few months and when we stability in price then we may sell our coins/tokens. I don't really know man but I feel like its just become private sale -> presale -> public sale, whatever number of round there is and just dump on the public once the coins reach the exchange. I mean its like there is no more reason to buy on exchange unless the price bleeds down to ICO or sub ICO price. People who get into this private sales literally have no risk at all.

When the token comes in the market, its price is lower than the actual price. Many times, after going to the puzzle, we do not want to face any loss of investment. Many tokens come back to the real price after being adversely affected. It can never do some tokens. The year 2018 is very exceptional, the tokens are plentiful for Bitcoin prices.

Hate to say it, but investing in an ICO right when it gets released is akin to investing in a stock IPO right when it gets listed.  Both are risky because no one really knows how much the thing is supposed to be worth or who's pumping up the price.  Look at Facebook when it went public.  If I recall correctly the first thing it did was drop.  True, it has risen significantly since then, but you would have lost money had you bought the stock right at the IPO.

In crypto it's even worse because of the lack of regulation and inherent risk investing in something that might not have a legitimate use and could be just a scam coin.  If I were OP I would stay out of the ICO market altogether, but I would at least wait until the coin has been on the market for a few months before even considering buying it.

You should also keep in mind that the whole cryptocurrency market is in DIP since the beginning of this year. Bitcoin prices are less than half of all time high $19K in December last year. This could be probably the main cause of ICO's are getting the unexpected dip.

More and more ICO projects are being formed in 2018 but most of them, according to my assessment, are unrealistic and unlucky. Therefore, choosing ICO projects for investment during this time is quite difficult and the returns from ICO investment are not as great as at the end of 2017.
