ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017.

this is my own opinion but it may help others.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

ICO is so virgin and great hevenly idea... And it is getting dirty because of all this scammers and robbers!! It makes me angry, when you have this amazing instrument to achieve a huge goals and dreams, and somebody would use it to decieve people and steal their money!

I think, that the main problem is the current market situation. When the market stabilise and start grow, ICO investing will be different. Most investors are just waiting at the moment.

Yeah, the differences between ICOs on 2017 with 2018 are quite much. The ICOs now potentially below ICO price when it is launched, moreover it will be failed project. Now you have to think twice before joinin any ICOs. But not all of ICOs will have the same ending, you just need to be smarter and do a deeper research by your analysis skill.

we have to invest in those ICO which have a high potential in the future the product of them also contain some value if the product is better then the price of it will go higher. If you will invest in high potential coins and ICO then you will get a good profit.

This is truth but there are some that has done well in the market after the lunch. There is going to be a lot of things that are going to happen that will show people the reality and the nature of cryptocurrencies. Buying after the ico when a project is llunch into the market is far better.

I think ICO in 2018 is a lot of scam compared to ICO in 2017. but do not worry there are some very good ICO, one of them is USECHAIN (https://usechain.net). Very interactive project with a strong team. I think these guys are waiting for a great future, success to the team and to the investors!

Same here. I think it's much better to invest in ICOs, it has been great for me. Although, there are some ICO projects that are really not worth investing in. We just need to invest in those that have great potentials and with a promising project.

Yeah, but its due to the price drop of bitcoin I think. In general ICO's are still still blooming right now the trend is to solve current problems we are encountering right now. For example is the scaling problem in token economy. I hope this can be solve by menlo, an ICO that I'm currently following.

Despite the crypto ad in your post  I can totally agree with you and the token economy problem. A lot of projects are great ideas, but there is no sulution for participants who want to earn money thanks to rising price.

Its because you invested in lousy projects, dont get scammed by the WP of ICO, do your research before investing. Too many $hit projects out there they dont need millions to launch their projects but they still priced their tokens super high which will definitely fall below ICO price.

For me stay away from utility tokens, buy only on exchange if need to

Kinda feel same about this year ICOs too, well i hope there are many serious ICOs that want to change a little of our world into a better place for human kind. There is a big difference in the ICO of 2017 in the ICO of 2018, last year 2017 I earn big in bounty but this 2018 most of the ICO's I have joined are not good. It always ended up Loose so no rewards can be taken. Some of them also are ended up scam, so sad.

That's it. In 2017 you could invest in each ICO and take your money back with X profit. Now there is a big variety of ICOs and it is hard to collect full amount, as a result price decreases after listing. This year I gained only with Credits, Universa and MTC
