ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017.

You yourself should know that not all projects bring guaranteed profits. In 2017 there were more successful ICO projects, in which many earned a lot of money. And now there are units of projects that can make a profit, but they are difficult to get into.

Well, it’s still hard to tell is 2018 will deviate from historical trends. We might have to wait and see what the end of 2018 has in store before we can make that call. I hope I’m correct.

Yes ICO has changed a lot and has not been the same like 2017. Those years were like the pinnacle of ICO. There will always be a negative side when something become so popular. Many scammers and fake ICO have been popping out lately and trying to exploit its popularity.

this is my own opinion but it may help others.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

2018 is the era of the ICO. The reason for ICOs dropping after selling is because the market is on the downward trend. It will be improved in the future when good news is released.

It seems not like big different of what was happened last year 2017 ICO's compared to this year 2018 ICO's. Last year ICO's had many succeesful one but there are lots also which are scams and fake, and this year it sound like this things, but we can really conclude whose the best after this 2018 year ends. But still crypto industry are lots of ICO's in collaboration.

for 5 months of 2018, the ico project came out by 35% more than in the same period of 2017. a large number of projects implies that the number of weak projects, respectively, also increased perhaps you just stumbled upon a weak project.

This is correct. Project's publicity, introduction and P.R activities take much longer time in 2018. Low volume and prices in the market may be a valid reason of that situation.

I am afraid it might turn out exactly as you said, looking back in retro perspective. In 2017 things were indeed brighter regarding ICOs. But there have been some ICO that did quite well like Quarkchain. So you can still find the right gems and they will do well also in a bearmarket. But the risks are much greater nowadays.

The ICO market is alive . The fact is that in the past half Year  there are the same number of ICOs in 2018  than in 2017- so it is not the same as we have already surpassed last Year results until June 30. In this half Year of 2018 there is raised double amount of money than in 2017 ( whole Year ) more than 13.7 billion - so it is not the same Biggest contributors  for that result are Telegram by raising  1.7 billion  and EOS  raising 4.1 billion.
Where the difference is ; the market. Last Year we were in parabolic rise and now we are in bearish market which have big influence on  ICO token price  when they enter the market.

It is not useful to beginners First we should study the white paper and road map of the new project then it is satisfy our expectation we can invest ICO. But two to three times analyse the project and ask suggestion for some experts then we can invest the ICO.

which I see is so because every year all the ICO will be different not only different ICO Crypto anyway so especially now the price of crypto also decreased, therefore I am sure with the alternation of time or year all will be different

I agree that 2018 is not the same as 2017, but it is for the better I think. Theres more carefully crafted solutions in ICOs right now. But amount of them is really too big - there should be some institution to hold them all.
