The "51% Protection" is very innovative and I am not being maliciously critical when I say it is broken and needs to be fixed.

I want GLD to succeed.

~BCX~

I third BCX's comment.

Still support GLD yet this needs to be fixed.

I want to mine this coin but I want to make sure there are no issues.  With the profits being huge with even litecoin I can't have another weekend debacle of mining fake goldcoins.

I've updated that list.

New nodes should work better.

As for orphans, as the difficulty code stabilizes you should get them less and less often.

Sorry for your troubles, I made a slight error in my 0.7.1.6 difficulty fix that essentially negated itself.

If you really want to know,

In my test code I had the last60blocks vector ascending(lower timestamp -> higher timestamp) wheresas in the actual client it was descending(higher timestamp -> lower timestamp).

As a result of this, the value I was checking for ended up being negative.

This should clear up completely within a day.

Again, sorry for any troubles this may have caused you. It was not intentional.

To the creator of gld.minepool.net

I have been mining for over 24 hours almost continuously and my pending payout is 34.87. I have been operating at a high hash rate
of between 500 - 2000 KH/s for that time. I have not yet seen a single real coin go into my account balance.

Questions
1) Why is your support page not working? I wanted to send you a PM but instead have to resort to a public forum ...
2) Why is a pending payout of 34.87 not being paid out?
3) Why is the payout so low despite the estimated GLD/day having sat continuously around 100 - 300 for my user name over the last 24 hours?

Hi I followed the instructions on the goldcoin website, http://gldcoin.com/help-guides/mining/, for a step by step of how to mine and I'm still showing a zero hashrate on cryptoplanet.

Please have a look at the steps and see if something is missing. I'm new to this so even the slightest thing missing would mess me up.

I installed the wallet and updated fine, there is a green checkmark so that's right anyway.

I did the sign up at cryptoplanet, made my worker, replaced the pass and user in the .bat file then put it in the bfgminer folder. Do I open bfgminer? I tried that but the same thing happens in both cases:

- I click on the new .bat and the command window appears and then disappears quickly.

- I click on the bfgminer-rpc.exe and the command window appears and then disappears quickly.

Any Ideas?

Thank you
