Old client can be on main chain and connected to new client if not lost connection. Only on initially connection old client will be rejected. And if there is one old client in net, all old and new clients work together.

This hardfork not really hardfork, because no changes in blockchain, only in client.
Not quite the case. The client will no longer allow microstaking, AND it will exclude all clients older than the new revision. so if you're running the old wallet after today, and it does manage to synch, it will be on a fork. There was no major revision to the protocol, but it's still a true hard fork. So in plain English its not possible to mod the code so it will allow microstaking ?

Well, you can modify the code for sure, and diddle it so that it pretends to be the new version, and generate stake blocks for amounts less than the new limit ... ... but block validation depends on the Tek network. If the new client is coded well, other nodes on the network will catch "microstake" blocks (and therefore renegade clients) during block validation. The authors can probably speak to that issue with specifics.

Noise23 would be the man to ask about that, but since the main focus of the new client was to eliminate microstaking, I would think he would have made it so that such blocks would no longer confirm. He's a very good coder.

Nevertheless, microstaking is part of game and can't be removed completely.

Why in the world would you want to mirco stake , it does not make sense unless the person is so poor that he can't buy Tek , even two weeks working those free faucets would get you a nice sum!

1. As I say before, "Old client can be on main chain and connected to new client if not lost connection. Only on initially connection old client will be rejected. And if there is one old client in net, all old and new clients work together." I know that, because use it in new Cubits-QBT hardfork and found while testing.
2. Everyone who can compile wallet himself, may take old code and just change version to 60009.
3. After some time, new parameters for minimum stake value become microstake relatively average stake.

you have explored every possible coding change that can be done, that is amazing. If there's a way to remove microstaking from the wallet please do it. If not, then it's part of the TEK landscape, so just accept it. At the heart of crypto currencies is the reality of maximising behaviour by individual actors in a trustless ecosystem. Complaining about microstaking makes as much sense as complaining about ASCIC's. It really has nothing to do with morality, or good guys and bad guys.

And the ability to stake every 30 days without leaving the wallet open each day is a +1 for TEKcoin. Among the different types of PoS coins, I would say that TEKcoin is one of the most profitable ones out there. I'd already ROI with this coin by selling nearly 48% of staked TEKcoins. Looking forward for more exciting things to come.

If difficulty stays high, atleast the coin supply will stay down. Less coins isn't a bad thing.

Built from the latest source on the github for a windows QT wallet. Getting an error about a missing genesis block for the testnet. Clicked "ignore" and the wallet seems to be working fine, and syncing up "very" slowly.(it's an old coin)
